Casita Esmeralda - A hidden gem by the beach!

Everything was exactly as described- nice and clean. Near tons of great restaurants and the beach was a short walk. Appreciated the toiletries and cleaning supplies. Definitely helped to have a washer/dryer. Definitely recommend!

Perfect central location, perfect sleeping accommodations, versatile outdoor living options with plenty of space for enjoying coffee by the fire pit, eating dinner with family at the outdoor table, watching hummingbirds and enjoying the flowers. This property has it all and we enjoyed every bit of it! We played Jenga on the table while grilling. We were able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, the ocean, etc. We will definitely be back.

Amazing location and great home. Quiet, clean and has all the amenities you need. So close to the beach, we walked to coffee, dinners and the beach.

Perfect! The owner was so easy to communicate with and is incredibly sweet. The property is beautiful, clean, and so much fun! A shirt all from the beach, restaurants, shops. The decor is adorable and the house is fully stocked! We were so comfortable!

I rented the Casita Esmeralda for a family stay. As it turns out, 3 of the 5 of us didn’t travel due to Covid, but my sister and I stayed at the house. The house was just as listed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans, cooking utensils, dinnerware, etc. The coffee pot could accommodate Keurig pods or you could make a pot of drip coffee (flat bottomed filters, which they had plenty of). The place was spotless, beds were comfortable, towels fluffy. There was a garage for my car, washer/dryer. Also supplied were surf boards/boogie boards. Table for 4 upstairs, bar height table downstairs for 3. The outdoor space is great - table for 8, comfortable furniture, fire pit, which we didn’t use, swinging double seat. Close to the main drag (Garnet) of Pacific Beach, so taco shops, grocery stores, ice cream shops, etc. It’s a 6-7 block walk to the beach from the house, so not far. Definitely a beachy town - lots of surfers hanging out and lots of young people. The PB beach seems better suited to surfing than sunbathing and swimming. A 15-20 min drive up to La Jolla beaches which are really beautiful but much more crowded.

Host was great to communicate with and worked with us in a later checkout due to flight problems. House was exactly like it’s listed. We enjoyed the back yard and had a great stay!

I stayed there with my teenager kids (14 and 16). The set up was perfect for us, the house was very clean, almost all new, fully stocked kitchen with good quality appliances, wifi, TV, Alexa,.... The central air works extremely well, the patio was so cute and private at the same time. The beach was not overcrowded like Newport, Huntington beach. Surrounded by cool and casual eateries. We really enjoyed the stay at this house. Cannot think of one negative thing to say about the house. Thank you!!

Our oldest son got married this past Saturday in San Diego and this place was perfect for us to stay and get ready for the wedding. We loved everything about it and would come back in a heart beat! Thank you for making such an inviting and comfortable place! The mattresses are super comfortable and we slept great! The backyard patio is amazing and we loved hanging out by the fire pit! Everything we could have wanted or needed was provided here from the coffee pods in the morning to the surfboards and beach chairs for the beach! We had a great, relaxing day on the beach the day after the wedding and loved having the beach chairs and surf boards to use! We hope to be back next time we come to San Diego! Thank you sooooo much!
