Casablanca - 2 Story Family Home With Main Channel View of the Lake. 7MM Osage Arm - Main Channel.
Cozy Wood Tone Knotty Pine Home, Separate Lower Level for the Kids! Community Property and Ideal For Family Reunions!
This family oriented private home sits on a private point (7-mile marker) overlooking the main channel and Gravois Arm and is the guesthouse to the Crownview Villa. The home is two stories, with three bedrooms, and two baths.
The main floor consists of a living room with a flat screen TV and sofa sleeper (queen size), dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms (1 queen and 1 full), full bath with shower, concrete front porch with a swing, and wooden deck with outdoor furniture. The lower level (outside accessibility only - no internal stairs) contains two beds (queen and full), TV and game table, full bath with shower, and laundry room.
Guests enjoy a private deck that is directly off the Living Room, with its large patio furniture set and gas grill. An additional lakefront rock patio is shared by both the Casablanca and Crownview guests. This area is fantastic for watching the passing boat traffic and enjoying the afternoon shade. The property also has a private covered swim dock with ladder, sun deck and patio furniture. The water level is very deep off the dock and fishing is ideal anywhere along the shoreline.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The private home includes all bedding, bath towels, dish towels and iron. Other features include weekly trash pick-up, open parking, and laundry room facilities.
This special property offers guest spectacular views of the lake, excellent fishing, and fantastic Ozark’s morning sunrises for early risers. This "quiet side" retreat is 25-30 minutes away from all the action on the other side of the Lake - Bagnell Dam, Lake Ozarks, and Osage Beach - via the community bridge.
Properties are furnished for normal housekeeping with dishes, cookware, flatware, glasses, grills, and basic appliances. Sofa sleepers are recommended for children’s use only. We are also pleased to provide bed linens, bath towels, and a starter packet of detergents, bath soaps, trash bags and paper products (toilet paper and paper towels). Guests should bring replacements for these starter packet items, your own beach towels, soaps, personal toiletries, coolers, cleaning supplies, camera, life jackets, etc.
Everyone in party complained about the quality of the mattresses. The mold in the downstairs shower which also caused a very musty odor caused headaches. Bad fish smell in the disposal. Disappointing how small the master bedroom was. Living room wasn't comfortable enough to seat five adults and the chairs around the fire pit were filthy. It was bad enough, that we left on Saturday instead of our full time of Sunday.
Full kitchen made meal prep easy for our family. We ate at the Branding Iron and found good variety and good food
The Casablanca was wonderful. Very clean. We went for a relaxing getaway. And that's exactly what we were able to do. We even discussed having our families come back and rent both properties. The Grandview is next door. And is also beautiful from what we could see. Sherry was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Will definitely be back. Bonus, the dogs could come with us. And they loved it just as much.
Nice property just wish we would of rented main house instead of guest house.
Check-in was slightly late because of a cleaning issue but we were given notification and it did not affect our plans. The house itself was cute, clean, and was as described. The house had the basics but we did have to pick up some extra basics (toiletries/trash bags ect.) to last our stay. The dock sits on a very busy part of the lake so the water was choppy and it made floating in tubes and pickup by boat slightly tricky. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
Very clean and there was enough room to spread out in and enjoy! Beautiful property! The property manager was very communicative and helpful! We will definitely be back!
Was a very easy check in process, only bad thing I can say about The Who weekend was there was dirty dishes put away in the cabinets.
This house was so cute and the location was great! It was right on the water making it easy for our boat captain to pick us up. We enjoyed the outdoor areas and dock. Sherry was a great host and always replied in a timely manner to my many questions!
We loved everything about our stay. The dock was perfect for the kids to swim. The room set up was great for everyone. The kitchen was very well equipped. We even had a fire in the fire pit for the kids to make s’mores one evening. There is nothing that can be improved on for this property. It wa perfect!
This was one of my favorite vacations and rentals we have ever done. The response when we booked was quick and easy; the house was spotless; check-in was seamless. We all enjoyed relaxing on the deck and grilling a couple of the nights. Beds and temperature were comfortable. We have three kids, and each teen had their own bed and space. The kids enjoyed swimming/floating off the swim dock; this is a busy part of the lake, but they loved the waves. We rented a boat from nearby Millstone Marina, which was nicely remodeled and very clean. We took one day to drive over to the Bagnell dam area to eat, drive go-carts and mini golf. Such a fun, quick vacation on spur of the moment in these times of social distancing!
