Casa Sorriso, set in Boavista Golf Resort

We have stayed at Boa Vista eight times and unfortunately this was the most poorly presented property we have stayed in. The location on Fairviews was excellent and the interior space was good for a family of six adults, as is the same for most villas on this resort. However, the outside furniture was terrible. The furniture was dirty, covered in cobwebs and splintered. The patio needed a good sweep and clean. The air conditioning wooden covers outside were dilapidated and rotten. The bedding in the master bedroom was stained, however, this was rectified by the maintenance team who had come round to fix a door lock on the bedroom and the flush on the upstairs toilet. The master bedroom had very limited hanging space ass half of the wardrobe was locked. The other wardrobes were full of bedding and blankets. We had no where to hang dresses and shirts. Although we don’t watch tv, the tv was small with lots of loose wires porobably not ideal if travelling with children. The kitchen was small but ok and the washing machine looked new. We are returning to Boa Vista but would not rebook this villa unless it was updated to a standard equal to the price and other villas on this beautiful resort.

Great to get back to Portugal & Boavista. Property very comfortable for our family of 4, plenty of space, beds comfy, 2 balconies on which to enjoy the sunshine & an outside patio, pool was a nice temperature. Hope we get to return.

We have been renting property in boavista for around 12 years sometimes twice per year. I can say with complete confidence is the poorest quality furnished rental we have ever been to. There are no occasional tables in the lounge area. The furnishings in the downstairs area are the cheapest rubbish I have ever seen in a rental property except when I was a student 50 years ago. The dishes are not even in the same place as the kitchen. The bedside tables like the other furniture are absolute rubbish in quality, discoloured and flimsy. The table lamps I think came from a second hand shop and you can only use half the wardrobe in the master bedroom. The beds are “just” okay but the pillows are dreadful. Too arrive and find one dishwasher tablet, absolutely no soap, or toiletries incredible. I loo roll per bathroom. The TV is limited and has nothing like the normal cable tv that you get in Boavista. Clearly don’t use the Boavista network The chair at the end of the table is pushed in to hide the fact it is broken. The outside furniture is old and needs attention. The gas fire (cold at night) did not work. No gas. Supposed to be beach towels. Agent advised yes for 10 euros. All in all great location actual building great condition. No Portuguese rental licence which is law and ensures a good standard. No complaints book part of the legal process.

Very nice property close to everything Lagos has to offer. The bed is amazing, very comfortable for my bad back. Small kitchen, but we had everything we needed.

Comfortable 3 bed villa in excellent proximity to the clubhouse. Well equipped and greatly appreciated flexibility with checkin and checkout times, based on our weird flight times and their availability. Would recommend.

We had a lovely time. Boa Vista is great and we stay there every year. This villa could do with a little updating and care but overall it was clean and we had a nice time.

We had a lovely stay, the villa was clean, well equipped and spacious. We didn’t have a car for our weeks stay so it would have been very handy if there had been a shop on sight for small things such as bread, milk etc to save us keep going to the big supermarket. The pool area is clean and there are plenty of sun beds. Golf was excellent!
