Casa Robles -BBQ, Spa and Firepit!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an older home way, way out in the country that looks like it's been updated somewhat recently. Hot water takes a while and there's lots of areas in need of touch up. Amenities like the hot tub, big deck in the back, and good Internet and parking were appreciated. The cleaning wasn't spectacular, but good enough. We didn't really appreciate being given a list of things to clean and take care of before we checked out though. Isn't that part of what we're paying for?? Didn't use the grill, but the kitchen isn't really stocked well enough to do any serious cooking. The garage space has been turned into an uninsulated game room, but the foosball table wasn't level enough to be usable. Neighborhood seemed safe, but again, it's pretty far out if you're tasting in the west side of Paso.

The beds were extremely comfortable - and the home was stocked well! My only complaint would be it was a bit off the main road, and the neighbors on the right have a motion sensored light that literally went off ever 5 minutes, and you could see the change in light in the master due to a window that faces that direction. The window has blinds, but there is still a flashing effect in the room that was a bit annoying when trying to go to sleep. Other than that I highly recommend this home!

We were able to wash our clothes, enjoy plenty of time together, and cook and eat as family easily. My son loved all the neighborhoods animals and got to visit with them as we drove by and on adventure walks in the backyard. The sauna was a splurge we used daily - just takes a bit to warm up.Like every home it had its quirks and needs a bit more love in some areas. The refrigerator froze all our food no matter how much we tried to adjust it. The water heater is a bit temperamental and will adjust without you touching it/adjusting the temp. And as nice as the spa was the bigger jets on the hot tub didn’t work unfortunately. I grew up in Paso so I know from experience ranch home like this have these little quirks, but there should be more maintenance in some areas seasonally for homes like this. We would absolutely rent from Paso Vacation Rentals again.

The backyard is huge, and the kids loved the play structure and the horses and goats that visited every now and then (through the fence). The house is clean and had everything we needed. The neighbors are close on one side, and they did start playing really loud music a couple mornings fairly early - it wasn't a problem inside, but wasn't super peaceful on the back porch! Overall we loved our stay.

Our friends and us came up to Paso Robles for the Tobin James party. Spent the weekend wine tasting this place was a great place to come back to each evening.

The kitchen was incredibly outfitted with everything you need to make a gourmet dinner which we enjoyed doing. Coffee bar was wonderful too.

This vacation rental was perfect for getting away from it all and actually relaxing. The cozy and quaint feel of the house for great! The cleanliness was exceptional. The only thing that I was disappointed with was we didn't have access to a washer and dryer. We worked it out so it wasn't such a big deal. If this is important to you, make sure to inquire about it before you book. The check in and check out process was easy. There was a lot of great information that was shared via the book in the kitchen and the digital monitor as you walked. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to experience Paso Robles without having to be in the middle of the it all.
