The space
Our home has a very open living space, making it very comfortable for your family. We prioritize cleanliness so that your stay is a comfortable one.
Other things to note
This is a duplex and both units are separated by a locked door that is never opened. In the future wewill have the other side available for rent but for the meantime it is always vacant. Casa Patron in Livingston TX is indeed quaint and quirky, from its uniquely-crafted wooden bar (festooned with empty tequila bottles) to its epic double-shower/jacuzzi tub, to its uneven floors that make walking across the room into an experience akin to being on a ship at sea. The home is comfortable, with a well-appointed and equipped (but small) kitchen; the king bed is a bit firm, but comfortable; the septic-tank situation requires no toilet paper enter the potty (which is a bit funky, but there is a bidet attachment on the toilet, which was a new experience to wake up your senses). The house is on the highway leading to the Livingston airport, Lake Livingston, and a prison, so there's daytime traffic (but it quiets down at night). The house (which is a duplex unit) shares a huge well-kept backyard with an adjoining single-family home. The property is a couple doors down from Florida's Kitchen, a local soul-food/BBQ place (well worth a visit on Thurs/Fri/Sat--closed other days). We never did figure out the TV situation, but we travel with our laptops and good books to read, so we didn't lack for amusement. The property-owner was incredibly responsive and kind when we had a small issue with the induction cook-top (pro tip: the instruction manual is in the property-info notebook--lol). All in all, much better than checking into a hotel, and we're glad we came.
