This gorgeously remodeled one bedroom home is conveniently located within historic University Heights. - a quick drive to the major attractions of San Diego and mere steps to plenty of shops and restaurants right outside your front door. Our space has been completely updated and remodeled as the perfect getaway for our guests to experience the charm of University Heights.

Mattress is insanely comfortable - stated by multiple guests.

This gorgeous one bedroom works well for a group of friends, two couples, or small families. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, as well as a queen size pullout sofa bed in the living room. Please note that while the bedroom is separate, there is not an actual door to the bedroom. You will have full access to the shared front yard and the back yard is available for your own private use.

Let us be your concierge, helping you find the best spots around town to make your stay as incredible as possible. 24/7 availability should anything arise during your stay.

For check-in, we'll give you a code to the front door and you can arrive anytime after 4pm and check yourself in.

University Heights is adjacent to both Hillcrest and Normal Heights. Its central location means that Downtown, Balboa Park, Mission Valley, San Diego State University and the San Diego Airport are all within a few minutes drive.

The area is brimming with a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, artist’s studios and live entertainment, primarily on Park Boulevard and Adams Avenue.

University Heights is a tight-knit compact central-community that has everything nearby within walking distance and is known for being pedestrian friendly.

Commute time to anywhere in San Diego is about 20 minutes via Uber or Lyft and there are two available parking spaces for guests..

This unit is on the first floor of a two story building. The upstairs unit is also available for booking and is called the PorchLight Home.

We now allow up one well behaved adult dog for a flat $75 per stay. Sorry no cats or puppies!

    I had an excellent stay and couldn’t be happier with this home. From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much care and attention the hosts put into the space. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully set up with amenities that truly made the stay comfortable and relaxing. Everything worked perfectly, and the little details really stood out.What impressed me most was how outstanding the hosts were. They were incredibly responsive, proactive, and genuinely kind. Any time I had a question or needed something, they were on top of it immediately and made sure everything was handled smoothly. That level of communication and care makes a huge difference and really elevates the experience.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and hosts who truly go above and beyond. I would happily stay here again. I was here for 1.5 months and Mark and Connor were both amazing host.

    Such a great little space. Small, but fantastic attention to detail on renovations. Lovely outdoor space that is a really nice size to hang out and let dogs out. That coffee and breakfast close. We would definitely go back!

    It was ideal for me and my small dog. The location makes it easy to get to anything and anywhere in San Diego. Mark is amazing in his prompt communication. i would definitely recommend this for one or two people. If my travels take me back to San Diego, this is certainly one property I have saved for a possible future stay!

    This was a great place to stay, would highly recommend it. It’s within walking distance of some great restaurants and it’s in a beautiful neighborhood if you enjoy walking around. Will definitely stay there again!!!

    The apartment was very easy to find thanks to the painted shark. Place was as described and very clean. The backyard was a plus and the picnic table was nice for eating dinner. Owners responded quickly to questions and helpful with things to do and places to eat. The coffee place at the end of the block had lots of yummy food. Location was perfect for everything I did. Freeway was close and stores were nearby. Overall, I loved this place and definitely would recommend. I will come back in the near future.

    I looked long and hard and finally found the best place for us! It’s perfectly located - everything is a 15 mins drive max! You can walk to the various restaurants in the evening after a long day of sightseeing and there is a nice park about 5 minutes walk from the house where you can walk your doggo friend! We wanted to take our pooch to the ocean and being able to find such a great apartment where we could have him with us without any hustles (has to stay in a kennel all day, has to weigh less than 20lbs etc was just wonderful! The parking is super convenient right next to the apartment! The area is very safe and quiet at night! Communication with the owner was very smooth-he answered all our questions and helped with whatever we needed right away! If we will go back to San Diego we will definitely book this wonderful place again!

    The apartment is on the small side, so best for a couple or single traveler. But it's clean and well-equipped, comfortable and convenient for visiting the San Diego area.
