Casa Maria inside the walls of Assisi

We came back to Casa Maria after having had the most wonderful stay a couple of years ago, and happy to say our 2nd time at this amazing property was just as memorable. With Andrea being the most attentive host and the home being so well equipped, it felt like coming home! The craftsmanship and personal touch make this property uniquely charming. Cold AC, comfortable beds, well functioning appliances... even videogames and foosball table for our teenage son. Very walkable to main attractions, with plenty of restaurants, attractions/ views and even supermarket near by. Highly recommended. Can't wait to visit again in the future.

This property was in the perfect location! It was easy to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The host was incredible!! So accommodating and thoughtful! The property was clean, and perfect for my family of 6.

Such a cute property, in walking distance everywhere. Our host was kind and super helpful. You feel at home. He even mailed my daughters retainer back home! I wish we would have had more time in Assisi.

I will recommend this place to anyone needs a place to visit st claire and st francis. It is 2-5 mins away from st claire. Andrea is very humble and has excellent customer service. The place is clean and lots of snacks and his mother even bake cookies for us. If I plan to come back to assisi. I will definitely book again to this place.

Andrea and his mother were excellent hosts! They provided us with everything we could possibly need or want... drinks, food, homemade pastries, toiletries, slippers, games and more! The house was clean, comfortable and well-decorated. We truly enjoyed our one-night stay at Casa Maria. Wish our time there had been longer. Thank you, Andrea and Mama

When was the last time the owner picked you up at the train station? And brought you back? Andrea goes so far beyond everything! Casa Maria is comfortable and welcoming. I can only hope that i can get back there! St. Francis lives on in Assisi and Andrea is a good example!

We had a wonderful time and would happily stay there again. The property was clean and in a great location. Grocery store and bus stop are just a short walk and the property is just 20 minutes walk to the Basilica di San Francesco.

A pristine, historic, well maintained, spotlessly clean home unit with an EXCEPTIONAL host!Our host did so much more than we expected: taxied us to our car to retrieve our luggage, led us to a new (and free!) parking area, provided beverages and all kinds of snacks in the home where he was raised, inside the town walls. Friendly, warm and welcoming, our host set the standard for all 8 of our rentals in Italy, and came out as the best.You couldn't ask for any better. Will gladly return! Thank you

We very much enjoyed our stay in this historic and beautiful apartment! We were very comfortable, and the host was extremely gracious and generous. Everything was supplied, and we were close to all of the important sites of Assisi. Our family of 5 stayed comfortably here; we all shared 1 bedroom with the beds set up for all of us. We enjoyed being close in to the city!

Renting the house was easy. Andrea was wonderful and easy to work with. A great experience!!

The casa has everything travellers need for a perfect stay. A perfect score of 10! Andrea and his mum have thought of everything, including a shoe-shining machine, a coffee and tea maker and an ice maker. The casa is within walking distance to everything in Assisi. We love this place and would love to stay there when we visit Assisi next time. Thank you Andrea for making us feel at home and for driving us to and from the station.

Although Casa Maria is a beautiful apartment, filled with luxuries, the true treasures of this place are the beauty and serenity of Assisi which is equally matched by owner, Andrea. He made it known right away that he wanted us to feel as welcomed as possible. The little details were what we most appreciated. The automatic espresso maker, the stocked refrigerator, the candy machine, and the xbox just made us feel like we were staying at a luxurious resort. I don't think that there's a better value for the money out there. My only regret was that we weren't able to stay longer. I would not hesitate to spend a week here. We absolutely LOVE Assisi and this place just added to our enjoyment. This is most definitely a 5 star apartment! What an unexpected surprise!
