Stayed Dec 22, 2022Stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year. It's a great location in the North of the Island and the property itself is in a quiet street. Access is by car only and there are some very steep and narrow roads but that's part of the fun of Tenerife. The property would benefit from an oven and perhaps a dishwasher, though the hob and microwave are fine if you plan to eat out most of the time as we did. It's probably more suited to short breaks that longer / family breaks, but if you plan on being out most of the time it's absolutely fine. Puerto is just a few km away and you will be spoilt for choice of restaurant and things to do. If you haven't stayed in the North of the Island before, it is totally different than the South. It's green, laid back and rugged and you will need a car to get to beaches and attractions. Puerto Cruz is a beautiful city and our favourite on Tenerife with lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. To get to the South's main attractions takes an hour by car via the Islands motorways, or about the same over the mountains if you're feeling adventurous (and you should go that way at least once, it's stunning). All in all this is a great spot to base yourself and explore the Island, or just chill out in Puerto De La Cruz and enjoy all the north has to offer.
