Casa Julia Beautiful Secluded 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Home with Million Dollar Views

We stayed at Casa Julia for our 20 year wedding anniversary and loved the house. It has awesome views, a ver nice hot tub and a nice area to hang out in a covered patio. The property management was great as well. I would highly recommend this house for a visit to Taos.

Million dollar view might be an understatement. Peacefully and relaxing. Got to watch the balloon rally launch without leaving the comfort of the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed staying at Casa Julia a number of times. We love the location, the grounds, and the spaciousness and layout of the house. However, the house is showing some lack of care: loose and chipped faucets, sluggish plumbing, and rickety uncomfortable furniture. Also, the steps leading up to the front door feel precarious to us as we age. A railing would be nice and safer. The dishwasher is ancient and inefficient. Because of these issues, we will regretfully look for another home to rent the next time we visit Taos.

Things that need fixing: low water pressure, loose kitchen faucet (these were reported, but care-taker was dismissive), and missing light at bottom of spiral stairs was a hazard. Property needs improvements to bathrooms, which were outdated and fixtures with mineral deposits; pillows/sheets of poor quality for this house, which otherwise is a beautiful property.

Taos is one of our favorite places to visit. Only 2 and 1/2 hours from home with a good art, music, and food scene. This property is about 10 minutes from the plaza but secluded and private. We spent the majority of the time outside on the back wrap around deck enjoying the view, quiet and serenity. This will always be a special trip for us as we met a terrific real estate agent and are getting ready to make an offer on a beautiful property. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.

This is a wonderful place to relax with friends. I would definitely book again.

The house was located at the edge of the forest with beautiful views of Taos valley and sunsets. Could not have picked a more relaxing stay.
