Casa Félix, Calheta: Villa with unique view! Private Pool!

Casa Felix is an absolutely amazing property!!! Celia was very helpful and very accommodating. The pool and view of the Atlantic ocean is incredible. Celia even brought us fresh huevos to welcome us….would love to come back. Obrigado Celia until next time.

The host was great with communication. The VRBO was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and we had a nice welcome basket with treats and wine!Our suggestions would be to heat the pool to a warmer temperature, replace the light in the pool, and definitely replace the mattresses and pillows with something less firm. The views were outstanding and the unit was very clean. Absolutlety awesome vacation.

We had the most amazing week in Casa Felix. The villa is just breath taking, on 3 levels and that pool is to die for! The pool gets the sun very late morning right up until the most striking sunsets. Everything was spotless and fully equipped had everything we needed for our stay. The host Celia is lovely, and offered to meet us as the villa is hidden on the hillside. It’s completely private and not overlooked. You will definitely need a car as the local shop is basically way down the bottom but we thoroughly enjoyed the driving in Madeira and was my partners first time driving on the “wrong” side haha was so much fun. We will 1000% be back :)

We spent 4 days at Casa Felix. It's an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We really never have booked an apartment like this before. The view of the ocean is just beautiful and the balconies, the terraces and the infinity pool are just a dream. We'd really like to come back soon!

This is the second time I have stayed at this property and I loved every minute! You get the sun for most of the day and the outdoor space is just beautiful. Everything is spotlessly clean, the hosts are wonderful and helpful and I can't wait to visit again!You definitely need a car to visit this location and the drive is better for experienced drivers. The beds are slightly too firm for my preference but each to their own. This place is magic, I hope to be able to visit for years to come!

Lovely hosts. Met us at the property and discussed the local area. An opportunity to ask questions. No issues, very straightforward check in. Welcome gift of wine, fruit, eggs, and cake/biscuits. A nice surprise. The house is spotless and everything has been considered. Plenty of Towels (both bathrooms and pool). Toilet rolls. Every appliance in the kitchen you could need. Cleaning products under the sink. Foil/cling film, kitchen roll in the drawers. Cutlery, pots, pans spotless. No need to wash anything before using. The views from the property are breathtaking. Pool area beautiful with 5 loungers. Pool larger than it looks on the pictures. A good number of decent restaurants in Calheta all situated along the harbour. We ate there most nights. Very reasonable and quality food. Really good, well stocked supermarket for all your needs. Reasonable priced. We went down there every morning for pastries and then ate them at the table on our terrace. We chose to drive down in the car as the walk back is very steep. Whilst there are 2 beaches we chose to use our pool in the days we stayed in as it was just perfect. Loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank you for a fabulous experience

While there is much to see in Madeira, we enjoyed this home and its stunning views most. The sound of waves crashing below us, the lovely sunsets, the interesting features of the house made for a wonderful vacation. Celia and Alfredo are excellent hosts. the

You could not ask for a better location and view! The property was beautiful and well equipped. The hosts were wonderful. They met us on arrival and made sure we were knew where everything was and gave us suggestions on shopping and restaurants. The perfect vacation.
