With some TLC, a bit of a makeover, paint, cleaning, and minor repairs this would be a gem. Located about 3 minutes from public transportation or a 20 minute walk to downtown, it was very easy to get around. Swimming in the nearby grotto was a nice experience. Our host Amalia worked hard to help make us comfortable for our 9 day stay. We arrived and our first day was a bit of a disappointment. A gecko in the upstairs bedroom, 100s of ants In the main floor bedrooms and kitchen. Upon contacting our host Amalia she responded quickly to clean and help mitigate to problem. The courtyard was not in a usable state. Online pictures show a gorgeous property and likely from a few years ago. As mentioned with some care and maintenance this place could be back to that glory, it has so much potential. One thing to note the walk up the hill to the property is very challenging and not for everyone. If it does get back to its former glory it would consider staying there again.
We enjoyed our stay in your villa and seeing Sorrento and the areas around. Everything was convenient to bus and trains. The villa was very spacious and kitchen was well equipped. Only felt it needed some TLC. Thank you a great vacation!
Amalia was so helpful and responsive from the moment we booked! Our family of 8 adults stayed here and explored the region. Access to the local bus system was a short walk from the villa and local taxi service made everything we did very easy. We walked into Sorrento a few times on the path and the downhill walk was very enjoyable. (Be ready for a lot of hill walking) The villa has great gathering areas both inside and out and we so enjoyed the beautiful view! Highly recommend.
Villa was charming, beautiful views and had everything we needed. Access to upstairs bedroom wasn’t very comfortable for the over 60 age group however we didn’t need it as there were 3 bedrooms on main level. Our host checked us in and communicated with us throughout the 5 days. We did have a mix up on checkout day and our driver didn’t show up to get us to Napoli to catch our train. Our host did her best and got us a taxi to Sorrento train station and we took train to Napoli and caught our train to Firenze. This was just an honest, unfortunate mistake and we were reimbursed money to cover our extra costs to get to Firenze. Mistakes happen and it all worked out. We would recommend staying at Casa Fiorita. Thanks for your help and hospitality. Sincerely, Kenneth, Margie and friends.
8 family members stayed here for 4 days. Well furnished with lots of space. The views are stunning w/ amazing sunsets. The property host was there at check-in w/ great communication before, during and after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We SO enjoyed our stay! The home is a classic Italian villa. Terracotta tiles. An incredible terrace overlooking the sea. An amazing garden. Comfortable beds. Our three teens stayed upstairs with the rooftop patio. There is a bus at the end of the street and the street is very steep. But it was worth it!
Wonderful experience. Great house, easy convenient location and fantastic views. Facilities were excellent. We cooked home several times and found the kitchen was great except it need a few more pots and pans We would defiantly rent again
