Stayed Jun 16, 2018Arrived Sat: So how do you buy eg. dishwasher tablets / no leaflet as to how to use the dishwasher/ television no instructions/bed pillows not pillows just slabs of foam/kitchen not well stocked for cooking/ sun screen doors do not tie back - so you live in the dark, or the wind slams them/ advise on the village would be helpful types of shops when open/ woke up one morning to find an electrical type machine in the swimming pool- it was there all day- not useable?/ Did you report it NO : any English spoken was minimal and we do not wont for this type of money to be reporting problems daily. Solution : House book with equipment instructions - house stocked with basic needs -(did ask for toilet roll) - information on the locality including shops / type/ times.- better kitchen equipment and door fittings.- notice of any pool works etc. In conclusion we did not get our monies worth ??? You to advise.

Stayed May 19, 2018We had a wonderful week at Casa Elena. The house is perfectly located to enjoy everything the region has to offer. We visited Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Grotto di Vento on the one rainy day we had, the beaches at Marina di Vecchiano and Forte di Marmi, but the highlight was a boat trip from Lerici (1 hour from Casa Elena) to Porto Venene and Cinque Terre. The house has everything we needed and we were happy to find that the sofa bed was comfortable! The children loved the pool and also seeing the animals at the main house, just above the villa. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The view is also spectacular and we loved watching the fireflies in the evening. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
