Stayed Sep 19, 2025The house is perfect for two with vast views out to the Atlantic. You do need a car but there is so much in a short drive. We were here for 5 nights after spending two in Ponta Delgada and loved the garden. I love the quirkiness of the house and the excellent use of space. The bedroom is nice and spacious and everything about it feels authentic and cosy. There is also a beautifully friendly cat that frequents the garden and is partial to a cuddle! Sao Miguel is wonderful, we can't wait to return!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The location of this place is unbelievable, we ate breakfast outside in the garden with an incredible view of the ocean! The windmill is iconic, very cool place to stay. The inside is cozy and was all that we needed, we had no complaints.
