Casa Del Sol I - Large Single-Family Home With Private Pool

The property was large enough to meet our family's vacation needs. There were plenty of towels and pillows. The pool was a big hit with the kids. The area felt safe and quiet yet walking distance to the beach. I loved the selection of TV channels available for viewing. The host could have a beach cart and maybe a couple of foldable chairs that guests could use when they go to the beach. I've stayed in other beach front rental homes that provide these extra amenities. We left a few of the pool toys that we purchased for our grandchildren to play with while there, so other guests might enjoy.

This house was perfect and in a great location! The rooms, restrooms, and living area were all very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of storage and appliances. Lots of towels and extra supplies were available. The pool was way bigger than expected and the backyard area was private and relaxing. The host was super responsive to any needs. I would rent here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

All in all the house was nice. There were a lot of personal items left around and ods & ends in the kitchen. A few items were already damaged when we arrived like some times & the sinks had cracks.There was a storm that did bend a piece of the hydraulic pump on the door. Owner is trying to hold us accountable for, even though it's a common occurrence. They left the broken pieces of the previous hydraulic pump in a drawer. And you can see the damage from previous storms where it ripped the hinge out of it.

Wonderful location, walking distance from the beach and from the festivities. The pool was relaxing. The house was clean and roomy. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Perfect stay for our family of 12, close to main road and beach is also walking distance. We all enjoyed the pool and outdoor scenery.

We had a wonderful time with family and friends. The house is spacious, with four bedrooms that worked perfectly for both kids and adults. We truly enjoyed the common living areas, using the dining space for card games and long conversations while some of us cooked in the well-equipped kitchen.The front balcony was ideal for breakfast and morning tea, while the backyard balcony overlooking the pool was perfect for relaxed dinners and offered great privacy. The location is outstanding, just a short five-minute walk to the beach. We watched beautiful sunrises in the mornings and equally stunning sunsets in the evenings, all within walking distance.We were also lucky to have perfect weather during Christmas week, with pleasant temperatures throughout. One small enhancement that would make the stay even better would be adding beach accessories such as a cart, chairs, and boogie boards, along with a few pool toys. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would happily return on our next visit to South Padre.

We had such a great time here! The pool was awesome and the house was the perfect size for all 12 of us.

We took a short vacation and instead of hotels we decided to go with renting a house and it was a great decision especially with 5 young kids who love to swim I definitely recommend and will be a repeat guest

It was very comfortable and clean. It had everything that we needed. This was our 2nd time staying here. Do wish that the back yard had been cut. The pool and back yard are beautiful. Had a great time. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay in this house. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking big family meals. Access to the beach was easy and the host was very quick to respond to questions. A baby gate at the top of the stairs would be helpful for families with little ones. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing beach house for a large family vacation. We fit 3 families total of 11 people. Pool was a perfect size and backyard trees provided privacy from neighbors. Large living area for whole family to gather for lunch or game night! Looking forward to coming back!

It was a nice house . The only problem was the carpet in the rooms were a little dirty and the propane for the gas grill didn’t work properly so I had to buy a new one!!

House was great for our family. Close to everything. Only disappointment was the internet was not working and both gas tanks for the grill were empty.
