Stayed Dec 20, 2025The home is more beautiful than the pictures can even show. The beds are super comfortable. There is plenty of space and the kitchen is stocked. Norma is wonderful and Nestor is helpful. Our trip was fun and relaxing. It has a fantastic view. We saw whales several times in the bay from the balcony. There are a lot of stairs, but after a few days you get used to it and get exercise as you come and go. It is a short walk to town and food. We enjoyed the home very much.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025Traveling : 2 families with children ages 5-13. We stayed in Casa de la Hoja, which has access to a 2nd separate casita, perfect for a third couple or teens. The house in Conchas Chinas is centrally located - 20-30 minutes to the most popular beaches (Conchas Chinas, Las Ánimas, Gemelas, Boca de Tomatlan…etc), but only 5-7 minutes to nearby town where you can shop and dine. The view is amazing from all rooms in the house but should keep in mind that there are many flights of stairs leading to the main house which are uphill - not uncommon in this area and a small price to pay for the fantastic views & sunsets too. A huge plus was washer and dryer which u have access to during your stay. Spence was thorough, efficient and quick at communicating. Norma was also very helpful and answered so many of our questions/offered suggestions. We’d love to be back!

Stayed Apr 17, 2025My crew and I recently stayed here for our vacation. This was a gem! It was private, it was clean, it was grand! No detail is overlooked at this place. Before coming, we informed Spence that we were celebrating our 40th birthdays (4 cousins). He included a bottle of champagne on our last day. We asked Norma to make a breakfast which was fabulous. The trip was amazing, but this place was the reason. The hill made for the best view of the ocean, the greenery made for a wonderful oasis for bird watching. Really, really beautiful place. I will go back! Spence, Norma and Nestor made everything seamless.

Stayed Jan 19, 2025I recently stayed at this lovely property with my husband, his parents, and both our brothers and their wives. 8 adults in total and we had a great time. The house is gorgeous and the two main suites were excellent for 2 of the couples with great ensuite bathrooms and extremely comfortable beds. The siblings were out in the casita and while there is some separation, the loft is not fully enclosed so if you share the casita, just be aware that there is lower levels of privacy. We spent most of the time that we were on site with all the doors wide open to the ocean, and we were lucky enough to spot whales every day with the provided binoculars. The kitchen was well stocked and the staff on site was extremely easy to communicate with, and very discreet. While the property is near the beach and town, it is at the top of a large hill with busy traffic, so walking into town is not really advised unless you're super in shape. We called Ubers to get out and back and it made the difference. The stairs to the house can also be a challenge, but it does mean the privacy and quiet are incredible. We had an amazing time!

Stayed Nov 7, 2024Casa De La Hoja was conveniently located and had sweeping views- the home was warm and magical. Spence and staff were so very accommodating from the beginning of the trip! Upon arrival, Norma greeted us warmly and we instantly felt an instant rapport…over the next few days, she made sure that house was impeccable and she anticipated all of our needs!! We even worked with Norma and staff to have some meals prepared, which was a wonderful touch. We look forward to coming back soon- what a memorable trip!
