Clean and had everything you needed for cooking. Outdoor shower. Nice breeze and outdoor seating. Easily sleeps 6-8 people. Host was very nice and friendly.

The owner was very communicative, and we love this property! The house was well furnished and stocked, and exactly what we wanted near the beach. There is a very short walk, and we walked over several times we will definitely be back! I did need to communicate a few times with the owner and he immediately got right back with me. Excellent stay!

It was close by the beach

The front door was sticking terribly we could hardly close it, and the view listed is misleading because the house is actually on the opposite side of the dunes and water

Nothing was “perfect.” It is an aged house, it is great. They got those great through the wall, high up units. Power went out for everyone, and it was nice to at least have some window units until we got the newer ones worked out (owner help was awesome). Dead bolt is no good, but meh. Knob lock is technically harder to pick. Also, it IS indeed close to beach. Can see beach and water from front porch.

The beach house was super clean and had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and pillows. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area. We were absolutely swarmed on the path to the beach even with bug spray on our skin and clothing They were relentless! This is no one’s fault, but just be prepared and consider buying a mosquito suit to get through the dunes to the beach. Thanks for sharing your beach Casa!!

Had a good time

Jim is an awesome host and very accommodating! The house is super cute and exactly as described. The beach is just a walk away and the neighborhood is clean and quiet.

This was a great little place on the beach with an awesome view. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great. Awesome place to stay if you're in Matagorda.

Close to the beach, easy to locate, and friendly neighbors. Had an amazing time and plan to go back again as soon as I can.

My partner & I had a great vacation in Matagorda with our two dogs and we really enjoyed the rental. We were able to cook all of our own meals in the kitchen and we really enjoyed that. Only word of advice is to bring bug spray because the mosquitos are vicious! But we loved the beach and how nearby it was.

The beach cottage was a perfect place to relax a getaway from the city life.

This is a perfect property for simplicity and convenience.
