Our place is a 1924 adobe house in the Feldman neighborhood. Its close to the University of Arizona, downtown Tucson, 4th Ave, museums, live music, gem show venues, parks, mostly within 10-15 minute walk. We are in a bicycle friendly part of Tucson, only 1 block from a city bus stop and 3 blocks from the trolley. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. We can accommodate 1-12 guests depending on preferred sleeping arrangements.
The space Being in an older neighborhood, our house sits on a tree-lined street with lots of vegetation attractive to hummingbirds. Sitting on the front porch in the early morning or evening is quite peaceful. The kitchen is compact but offers most everything you'd need to create great breakfasts, lunches & dinners. There is a gas-fired grill available on the back patio. There will always be condiments, basic spices, teas & coffee available. There is no dish washer.
Guest access The secluded back yard/patio is completely fenced & available to all guests. The front porch is open, elevated & shaded off & on during the day.
Other things to note The world renowned Arizona Sonora Desert Museum is only 20 minutes away and the Biosphere 2 is almost a must see if you have the time. Mount Lemon ski valley is like another world, open year round, cool in the summer and actually has skiing in the winter!
