Casa Bendita, relaxing beachfront home- internet, a/c, gas grill, full kitchen, BBQ

The views and pool area are fantastic, we sat outside all the time and just took it all in. The house has some upkeep issues, but it is a rental so keep that in mind. The other weird thing was that beach goers use the rear portion of the property for lounging, several evenings there were people outside until well after dark. Overall, we had a nice trip.

5 stars BUT:Beautiful oceanfront house and location. Some issues.1. Each individual room needs a lock so that when you leave the room, it's fully locked. There is increasing crime in Tamarindo and Langosta, and this is a must. 2 of the other houses I stayed in built by the exact same builder had external locks to protect the rooms. This is a cheap, necessary addition 2. Before I rent this house again, I'm going to make sure all of the mini split ACs' filters are cleaned and the condensate lines are drained. The air in 3 of the bedrooms was musty at times--which is a separate issue from Costa Rica's humidity--and this would easily fixed by weekly cleaning of the mini splits 3. There were multiple small issues which indicated a lack of a quality check prior to our check in. The mini split in the kitchen was malfunctioning, one of the dressers in the rooms was totally out of level which caused the drawers to remain open, and the bed in one of the bedrooms was falling off the frame. That same bed was made up of 2 doubles that were not well joined and uncomfortable to sleep on. For this price, the house needs to be flawless.4. The listing mentions parking available, which is true, but the listing should really say no garage parking. Every other house I've stayed in in Langosta had at least a 1 car garage. This house has a 2 car garage but the owners' vehicles are occupying the garage. Although we parked in the driveway, it was still a pretty big disappointment.

We had an amazing time Casa Bendita!It was my husband and me, our two teenage boys and my sister and it was perfect. A few highlights… We loved the open air showers! It added a totally tropical vibe… We loved relaxing in the pool and enjoying the back deck sitting area where you could enjoy the ocean view and sound of waves all night and day. The beach… All of the reviews say it but the sunsets are awesome! The stretch of beach this was on was beautiful and quiet! And lots of fun seashells. Location wise… There were plenty of restaurants to walk to and others just a short golf cart drive away in town. We loved Sidebar for an after dinner drink! The house had everything we could have needed. The separate ice maker was a total plus. Also beach towels were provided. The welcome gift with coffee was a nice surprise! Also the concierge was super helpful and got us everything we needed. Do not hesitate to use them! :)From a responsiveness standpoint we only needed help once when we couldn’t figure out one of the A/C units, and I swear someone was there in under 10 minutes to show us (it was totally our user error!). And once we got them going all of the rooms were very pleasantly cool. We definitely said if we come back next summer we will look to book this same casa!Thank you so much!!

Our stay at this incredible VRBO was nothing short of unforgettable. It was the perfect setting to host my best friends, and from the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away by the beauty of the property. The layout of the home was absolutely stunning—thoughtfully designed to create a feeling of both openness and tranquility. Every corner of the house felt inviting and full of character, making it a truly special place to gather and relax.One of the highlights for all of us was the view. The pool overlooked the water with a breathtaking, panoramic scene that we never got tired of. We spent hours just soaking it all in—swimming, laughing, and watching the light shift across the horizon. It was the kind of view that instantly melts your stress away.We also really appreciated how well the air conditioning worked, especially on those hotter days. It kept the home comfortable and cool, allowing everyone to sleep and unwind with ease after long days out in the sun.And the fish! The serene flow of fish throughout the property brought a peaceful, almost magical energy to the space. It added so much charm and beauty, and everyone loved it—it was such a unique touch.This home truly brought our group together and gave us memories we’ll be talking about for years. We can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for sharing such an extraordinary space with us!

This gorgeous Villa was home base for 2 weeks. Family and friends came and went. Road trips to the Volcano and Cloud Forrest were spectacular. Easy travel. Those of us staying back at the villa could not have enjoyed it more. Large. Private. Ample indoor and outdoor space. Beautiful pool and of course the Ocean just steps away. Walking the beach during low tide was a daily routine. We never missed a sunset. So many restaurants to choose from and all were excellent. Great service and delicious food. The location provides easy access to everything. We used a rental car. Uber and scooters. All in All we Loved it!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Bendita with our 2 teenage kids. The accommodations gave everyone personal space in a gorgeous and peaceful setting.

Casa Bendita and the entire team were the best! Thank you so much to Lola and German for making our vacation memorable. Definitely looking forward to another visit!

Immaculate home in possibly the best location in Tamarindo/Langosta. Minor issues were addressed immediately. Highly recommend.
