Casa Amarilla | Charming Getaway Near Santa Fe Plaza

Casa Amarillo was the perfect home-away-from-home for our recent stay with family in Santa Fe. Centrally located, it accommodated our family comfortably. the heater and hot water heater were supreme! Amenities were excellent, from shower gel and shampoo/ conditioner in the shower, to extra blankets in the hall closet. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home!

While this rental sleeps 8 it is only setup for 6. There were barely enough cups for everyone, it has a two cup coffee maker so you have to make multiple pots for everyone to get one cup in the morning, the dining room table has chairs for 6 not 8. And don’t forget there is no dishwasher. Additionally, I agree with the previous comment that the mattresses are very uncomfortable. It got so bad, I ended up sleeping on the sofa, because I could not do one more night in the bed. Nice house, nice neighborhood, but it feels like they are trying to get away with the bare minimum in stocking the house for 8 people. I have honestly never stayed in such a poorly stocked rental. Driveway is awkward, it’s hard not to grind the bottom of your car and the landscaping near the road blocks the view of oncoming traffic. I won’t say don’t stay here but know what you’re getting.

The house is very clean. Location is close by to shopping and dinning. Will definately book again.

Very quiet neighborhood close to everything

Just a couple of things that you should know. We got there very late/very early on Friday morning. There is no visible house number. The one on the front of the house is hidden by bushes and hard to see in the dark. Did not want to try the keypad if it was the wrong house and scare someone. There was a bit of an ant problem. We saw them in the kitchen and in the baths. You might consider some liquid hand soap at the sinks. Other than these things you should know we enjoyed the house and the area! None of them would make our stay any less than great.

We had a great stay! Perfect location and just what we need for 5 friends. The only thing that could have been better was the mattresses. They were not comfortable and could use an upgrade. Other than that, it was great!

Great place for a family to stay at. Close to main Santa Fe attractions but far enough away to have a quiet neighborhood. Also, there is a park with play equipment just down the street which is nice when you have kids. We would stay here again.
