LOCATION: Stroll to the historic Plaza, galleries, museums, restaurants and shops, or simply wander the beautiful Eastside lanes with their adobe walls, hidden gardens and distinctive architecture. Kaune’s Neighborhood Market isjust two blocks away, and popular Downtown Subscription café is also nearby.

THE HOME: Classic Santa Fe details are everywhere—vigas and latillas, a traditional kiva fireplace, Saltillo and flagstone floors, bancos, nichos, handcrafted woodwork and colorful Southwestern art and furnishings. This is not a cookie-cutter vacation rental; it has the personality and character of a much-loved Santa Fe home.

BEDROOMS: Two spacious king suites are located at opposite ends of the house, providing excellent privacy for two couples. The primary suite includes a small library, generous closets, built-in shelving and access to a private courtyard. A separate study/den has a large work desk and queen futon, allowing the home to sleep up to six. Please note: the den is a walk-through space and is best suited to children or family members rather than a third couple.

LIVING & DINING: The inviting living room features a dramatic viga-and-latilla ceiling, kiva fireplace, comfortable seating, large-screen TV and built-in Bose sound system. The dining room seats six.

KITCHEN: A spacious, fully equipped kitchen offers generous workspace, center island, gas range, oversized refrigerator, beautiful wood cabinetry and plenty of room for preparing meals at home.

OUTDOORS: Relax in the private, fully enclosed rear courtyard with seasonal flowers and a mature apricot tree. Enjoy morning coffee, an afternoon margarita or dinner outside using the gas grill. The enclosed courtyard is especially convenient for guests traveling with a dog.

AMENITIES: Xfinity Wi-Fi and cable TV, washer/dryer, Bose sound system, gas grill, linens and off-street parking for two cars. Small dogs are welcome.

Casa Alexander does not have central air conditioning. Its traditional construction helps keep the home temperate, and fans are provided.
