Carowinds 2Miles, Fully Fenced Yard, 2,000sq ft House, 5Min Highway

What a wonderful house. Plenty of space in a great neighborhood. Quiet and in such a beautiful area. Highly recommend this property if you are planning on staying in the area!

A wonderful place to stay. I loved the backyard and area is close to all kinds of activities.

Overall the home was fine for our stay. However, we got a sense that we were being watched. We arrived and trash can was at the road. We left and came back and it was pulled in. Then we left the next day and came back grass was cut. It would have been nice to know (be communicated with) when someone would be on the premises.

This was perfect for my family. We were very comfortable and relaxed. Beautiful home. Lots of space. Great location in Charlotte. Perfectvif you have kids.

My family loved this place it was so convenient to get around. We spent a day at Carowinds and it was amazing. Venturing out into downtown Charlotte for dinner was a great experience. We will definitely take another trip to the park.

Clean and comfy

We visit NC to attend our daughter's graduation from college for nursing. The home was spacious, clean, great neighborhood. They were nice to let us have a graduation dinner at the house for our daughter. Love the big yard and it was just a cozy stay for the family. Would most definitely staynagain!

Difficult to relax due to the restrict rules. We worried about being charged the whole time.

Overall this was a good property & met our needs for our stay. The house was spacious & the neighborhood was quiet (except for a frequently barking dog next door). Rooms & beds were decent. Kitchen appliances, utensils & laundry were adequate for our use & this location was very convenient to shopping, Carowinds, & a variety of restaurants. Fenced back yard was a big plus. We did have a few issues, however, with this house. We were there during a pretty cold week - & the HVAC system for a 2 story house operated on a single thermostat on the first floor. This resulted in consistent & significant discrepancies between the temperature on the first & second floors. Challenges learning how to change the programmed cycles also resulted in waking up to a cold house, with the thermostat set at something in the 50s. (By the middle of our stay, we did get this figured out, but it made those mornings quite uncomfortable). While there, the ice maker never worked nor did the light over the kitchen sink. We did not call the property owner/manager for these issues because we didn't want someone coming at any time to address them. (we had a rescue dog who was still unpredictable around others). One trundle bed sheet was stained & trash was found under the bed. The TV in the big bedroom could not be synced to either of the remotes in that room. It would have been nice to have tissues and extra towels available, but we provided those ourselves. We would consider this property again.

2 of our employees stayed there while working in the vacinity. They are both on diets that don’t do well with eating out every meal, and I came up with this idea! They said the house was great, beds were great, very comfortable after 12 hour days. The kitchen was well equipped, the location was perfect.

This place is exactly as described! The owner is very responsive and left clear instructions. It was conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. My kids went to Carowinds and it was nice to have a short drive home after being in the park all day. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Nice location to Carowinds and a very nice backyard with games and awning for cover. Home has steep stairs and can comfortably sleep 10 upstairs. One child slipped on stairs as they are bare wood. One towel per person was provided. Wooden floor was dirty as we had to throw out socks they were so soiled. After that we wore shoes indoors. We also had to purchase fry pans as those provided were extremely worn and need to be replaced. Otherwise adequate kitchen items provided. So overall it was a mix of good to fair. A few immediate improvements could go a long way. Also had a glass with a chip in it. In the end we had a good visit but will not make our list to return.

This is an older house they put new decor in as a bandaid. There were roaches upstairs in the bedrooms, mold and mildew in the showers and don’t get me started on the kitchen. The kitchen sink is so rusty and gross I could barely make myself use it. The pots and pans are not min stick do do not plan on cooking there. The baseboards look like they have not been cleaned in years. Don’t waste your money on this place.

This property was exactly as listed. Top condition, spacious, clean, stocked with extra, excellent location and quiet neighborhood. Host was delightful and always available for communication. Fun place to stay and just being there rounded out our vacation with family.

Good location & safe neighborhood, close and convenient to many things!

The house was perfect for our family trip to Charlotte. There was plenty of space and everything we needed for our start. We also really appreciated the big backyard for our two dogs. We will definitely stay again next time in Charlotte. Highly recommend!
