Carolyn's Bay View Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn’s house above Mission Bay. Carolyn was very responsive and communicated clearly.The house sits above Mission Bay, and provides excellent views of the bay and the ocean beyond. It was great to be able to relax in the hot tub, which is set in a well-cared-for back yard with multiple outdoor seating areas. Inside, the house was clean and comfortable. We liked being able to sit in the living/dining area and look out at the bay. Near the end of our stay, we were treated to a spectacular sunset.We will definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity.

House was one of the best we've ever stayed in. Was very clean and had everything we needed in working order. We appreciated having enough towels, bedding and bath mats and the quality of them as well. The hot tub was a nice addition for relaxing after a long day of touring and adventures!

This home is in a convenient location. It is immaculate. And the bonus is the nightly fireworks from Sea World. The host is attentive and very responsive. My sisters and I would totally recommend staying here again.

All the comforts of home, lovely courtyard with hot tub and ping pong. Carolyn thought of everything anyone could need for a stay. The neighborhood and neighbors are lovely and the location is incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

The perfect home for our family of five’s San Diego vacation. The house was spotless and had all of the amenities we needed. Carolyn, the owner communicated all of the information we needed and was easy to reach for any questions. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything to see in San Diego. A 15 minute drive to Petco Park, San Diego Zoo, and several beaches. You will not regret choosing this home.

This location was convenient to everything we had planned for our trip (zoo, Coronado, LegoLand) and it being close to the airport. Everything was very clean. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful property great location and parking

We enjoyed our stay. The view of Mission Bay is great and the house is fully equipped. Great communication with the owner.

We had seen photos of the house prior to renting but were pleasantly surprised. It was so much more than expected. The kitchen was fully equipped, even down to spices and other items. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The bedroom are all spacious and plenty of room for the two children in the bunkbeds. The backyard is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is decorated beautifully. The location is close to just about everything! In addition, Carolyn was in touch on several occasions to make sure all was to our liking. She is an amazing host. I strongly recommend this home.

Awesome house with everything a family needs!

The property is in a quiet area and well located for exploring San Diego. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property is an upside down house which means the public spaces are up stairs so the view over the bay is amazing. The back patio was a quiet oasis and my son spent every night in the hot tub. Really hate to leave!

Our family of 5 adults found the house had everything we needed or wanted both to stay home and relax and to explore the nearby San Diego towns such as La Jolla and Encinitas.

We were very happy with our stay here. Everything was clean and communication was excellent although we didn’t encounter any issues. The downstairs bathroom needs updating but it’s functional and clean.

Great location for us while moving my son into college. Very close to the stores and restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood to stay and parking was not a hassle.

This property was amazing! Very beautifully decorated and clean! Better than the description! The host was super responsive- not that we needed anything- just very helpful. The neighbor is super cute-we walked every morning. Backyard was so nice. Very zen! Would definitely come back!

Property looks better than depicted in pictures. Views are phenomenal. Outdoor space is well laid out for optimal use.
