Great family vacation. Was surprised how close house was to the main highway but we had a great stay.

We stayed here for a week and the house was fantastic. It was incredibly clean and the pool and jacuzzi were amazing. The driveway was a little difficult to get into as it's right off of the main road. Also there is not a very easy way to walk to the beach from the house except walking beside the main road. Overall though we were incredibly happy with the house and the location and price. We will be staying with them again.

While we had a pleasant stay, we experienced numerous problems and found the location to be extremely undesirable. Cons: - long walk to the beach. The picture in the listing makes it look like it’s a straight shot but it’s misleading. You have to walk along the 4 lane, down the street, down another street, then find an access. Not great for families with kids - we arrived to the house after we were notified it was ready to find that the house hadn’t been cleaned. There were dirty towels in the entry, all the beds hadn’t been touched, pet hair everywhere, and you can tell nothing had been cleaned. Beach Realty sent out a team quick to get it fixed though! - we also experienced ac problems which the Beach Realty team was quick to respond to Pros:- pool was nice

There’s a lot of space for everyone to feel like they are home. If I could make 1 recommendation from the last time we stayed here a few years back... upgrade the beds. They are vet hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that... this is one of the best places we have stayed visiting OBX the last 10 years.

This was so perfect for my family and fur baby! Clean, had everything needed. The bypass was there but never even noticed. Short walk to the beach and close to everything. Definitely will box this one again next year.

The bedrooms were roomy and beds comfortable. Overall great experience at the house. The only downside is the busy highway out front can be a little noisy for the front facing bedrooms. That is to be expected.

We’ve been staying in OBX for years and this is one of the more disappointing experiences for the money. Houses of similar price and distance from the ocean had better finishes, more comfortable beds, better amenities, and simple conveniences like salt and pepper in the kitchen. It sort of boggles the mind that when we check in and a kid needs to use the bathroom after the long drive in, there’s no toilet paper in the house. You have to do a grocery run or know to bring literally everything. I’ve been renting houses 20 years and it’s the norm that previous renters leave behind basic spices, dish dishwashing fluid, even laundry pods, and certainly toilet paper. It was a weird experience. Plus someone from the realty company walked into the house midday to clean the hot tub which we hadn’t asked for (we hadn’t even used it by that point) and were not informed of in advance — we saw her walking in the house and were stunned by basically an intruder. For the money, would recommend staying in another house. Sorry folks.

It only worked for about 3 days then went into a FLO error and did not heat any more.
