Wonderful stay! This was our second time staying here and we absolutely love it. It has everything we need, and it's an excellent location for both skiing and lake access. The cabin is cozy and well stocked with everything we needed for our family with 3 young boys. The host is responsive and so kind, and we will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Carnelian Bay property! We spent two nights here with friends and family, and it turned out to be the perfect winter getaway.The home was clean, cozy, and very well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful snow and gentle snowfall right outside the property—it made everything feel magical and added so much to the overall experience.We loved spending time together indoors while enjoying the scenic winter views outdoors. The location was peaceful and ideal for a relaxing family trip. Overall, the property was awesome, and we made some unforgettable memories here.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Carnelian Bay. We would love to come back again!

This was the best stocked house we have ever stayed in. It was easy to prepare meals for our group of 7. Plenty of blankets, towels, and hot water. It was clean. Everything worked. Big enough to spread out but not so big you lost people. Great location. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the porch.

Location wonderful for access to Tahoe City heading south or Incline Village and Sand Harbor State Park north and to the east and all points beyond. Beautiful home with all the amenities you need and then some. Great outdoor space as well. Wooded lot. Nestled in nature. Comfortable ( living room and all the beds!) and very clean. An easy walk to the lake and to a coffee shop and some restaurants. Was not disappointed in any way. Wonderful stay! FYI for those traveling with seniors or small children…Second floor with private king bedroom and great full bathroom and two twin beds in loft area accessed by a spiral staircase.

We Really enjoyed our stay at the Carnelian Bay cabin! Beds were comfy, kitchen had all the necessary items needed to prepare meals. We also really enjoyed having our meals on the deck in the evening! It was a wonderful family vacation! Thank you so much!

Great location, classic cabin with fun layout and ample space for our crew of 6. Cathy is a great host and we’d love to stay agin next summer. Short walk to two restaurants, all the hiking trails, and the lake. An awesome experience!

Cabin was well suited for a group trip for 4th of July. The location was easy walking to restaurants and the beach. The patio was spacious. Only downside was we had planned to BBQ over the four days and learned a few days before arrival that it was not allowed for renters.

My family (40, 15) and I stayed in this cabin for three nights during President's (Ski) Week. More often than not, I find Tahoe rentals overpriced for the quality they offer, but this cabin truly stands out. It was clean, thoughtfully designed, well-furnished, and equipped with all the necessary amenities in perfect working condition.We skied at Palisades Tahoe, which is only a 20-minute drive away. Just 10 minutes from the cabin, there's a plaza with a Safeway and CVS for convenience. And if you're up for a scenic drive, the Nevada side—just 20-25 minutes away—is the perfect spot to catch a breathtaking sunset.I loved this place and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again next time!

Cabin was everything we needed and more. Perfect location to all the resorts and trails.

From the moment we walked through the door we felt peace. It had been a very stressful few months for us…. And all of our worries ceased to exist. The little homey touches… like mugs with personal phrases to the divine coziness of bedding induced relaxation and happiness. Thank you so much for this oasis. Perfect setting.

The location of the property was perfect. We walked to the lake to see the sunrise, drove to Palisades, a nearby hike in the snow, stopped at Northstar on our way to the house. House was very clean and exactly what was described. Fit our family perfectly! Thank you!

Cabin was comfortable and well equipped with everything one would need to stay for a few days. All appliances were in like-new condition. The cabin is conveniently located and sleeps 5-6 people in private bedrooms, with overflow in the loft beds. We are 6 of us and we had plenty of linen and towels to spare after our 3-day stay.

Our hosts were very responsive, and our stay was lovely. The L-shaped deck with dining table (and umbrella) is a treat, and the newish bathrooms are wonderful. The location--somewhere between Kings Beach and Tahoe City--is terrific, and Carnelian Bay has its own charms as well.

Rented the cabin for a weekend with my small swimming team and it was the perfect fit. Plenty of towels and hot water, kitchen items, and comfy beds for us to crash after a long day in the water. Very clean and well-organized and communicated. We'll definitely be back!

We were happy with this rental. It was a great location for everything we wanted to do in the Tahoe area. My only complaint was there was no AC, but it did not say AC on the listing. (We’re from Phoenix where AC is assumed!) We really appreciated the stand alone fans in each of the rooms! We made several meals and had everything we needed. Very clean. We also appreciated extras like laundry soap, dryer sheets, extra paper towels, etc. Thank you for a lovely vacation home!

We were 4 sisters, 1 daughter and 1 niece. The cabin in the woods was very comfortable and quite homey. The bed on the sunny deck was a real treat. The only complaint would have to be the dim lighting throughout. More or brighter lighting in the bathrooms and especially over the big table when playing games would’ve made our stay perfect!
