Stayed Apr 27, 2023We can fully agree with everything that Ann Z states in her evaluation and it is difficult to add anything. We, three Danish Musketeers , spent a lovely long weekend in Piedmonte with Carmelas charming house as the perfect base. Carmela is a wonderful, kind and extremely helpful hostess, who really cares about her guests. Her house is located in a tiny, very quiet village, where you will hear only the church bells, the birds and now and then a dog. The house is so nicely decorated and offers a kitchen and three individually furnished beedromms with each their own bathroom – all clean and welcoming. Good beds! The kitchen offers anything you can wish for to prepare a delicious meal from the local ingredients and Carmela even put forward a “start package”. For us the best was the large terrace with garden furniture and ….. a pizza owen and brick barbecue area / fireplace, where we prepared all our meals. Only about 2-3 kilometres away you find bigger villages with shops, large supermarked and restaurants. App. 50 kilometres to Turin and Barolo and a perfect starting point for hiking, biking and “wining”. Carmela, thank you very, very much! We truly recommend your house!

Stayed Mar 18, 2023We stayed in March 2023 and had an absolutely wonderful visit. Carmella was a charming hostess and so helpful it would take pages to describe the ways she made us feel welcome and at home. The house was perfect - comfortable rooms and beds, a nice big bathroom, every single thing we could possibly need for cooking, a charming outdoor patio where we spent a great deal of time, excellent parking in a very rural and absolutely quiet neighborhood and only a mile or two from the Basilica of Don Bosco and a terrific mall with a big grocery store and other useful shops! It was perfect to stay away from the cities where we could truly relax. The special kindnesses of Carmela and her husband when we had difficulty with a rental car that was too fancy for me to figure out, was priceless and saved us from a great deal of complications. This home was perfect for us and my friend and I will miss it for years to come until we can get back to visit again! I wish we had stayed more than a few days but the location was perfect to get to Turin easily, an easy drive from the Milan airport and surrounding areas. Thank you thank you again and again for all you did for us. I would recommend this charming home to anyone who would like absolute privacy and peaceful surroundings. You are wonderful people and we not only had a great stay we made new friends! Priceless!
