Amazing stay! We would come back in a heartbeat!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was exactly as described. It was nice, bright, and clean. The only issue was the difficulty in finding it, as well as the lack of an address in my previous emails. All property information must be downloaded using a QR code, which was a bit wonky due to phone service issues. I would have preferred having property information sent via an email attachment before our arrival. We did eat at Mama Tigs and were told that it would be a 45-minute wait due to a large order preceding us. The wait was closer to 2 hours, which was not cool with small children. The pizza was good, but I felt we should have been offered an apology with a partial refund.

It's a beautiful place sourrounded by interessting landscape as well.

The inside was so gorgeous and well laid out. We loved the home and our kids enjoyed the upstairs living area.

Location could have been closer to town center!

We absolutely loved our 2 day stay! The home was very clean and organized. It fit out group of 9 perfectly. Will definitely come back during a warmer season to fully take advantage of the pools and lake. Carlton Lake is a true gem!

We rented this home for our Christmas. All our kids came and we had dinner and played dirty Santa. We had plenty of room and made great memories. Very nice!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we noticed our refrigerator was not working. I immediately reported it to Lakestay and they advise me that it would cool the down once we put food in the refrigerator. Four hours later the refrigerator was still not cooling. With it being after hours and a weekend they could not get someone out immediately to make the repair so they brought an ice chest. The following morning a repairman came from out of town and said that the refrigerator would need to be replaced. After his visit the refrigerator did start to cool. It was a great inconvenience. We were notified that weekend from lakestay that we would receive compensation for inconvenience. 18 days later and we still haven’t received any compensation for the inconvenience. We’ve been to Carlton Landing many times over the past eight years and enjoyed each stay . This day started out very frustrating due to the refrigerator not working properly and was not able to relax nearly as much as we have in previous stays. We also noticed when we were at Carlton Landing this last stay that the grounds was not well-kept like they normally are. Overall I our experience was a seven on a scale from 1 to 10.
