Carlsbad Charm – 3 BDR Stunner!

Check in was a breeze. It’s about what we expected. The pictures are very nice. The home was comfortable, maybe a little worn down. The screen doors in both Master bedroom and living room come off the tracks. There is construction going on just behind the back yard wall (two new homes being built) so there was noise on the weekday. We would still stay here again.

We were very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived, we found a large water stain on the living room ceiling with plaster hanging down. This was not disclosed to us before check-in. When we contacted property management, they explained that there had been a rainstorm and they “hadn’t had a chance to fix it yet,” then asked if we wanted a contractor to come repair it while we were staying there. That should never have been put on guests to deal with during a vacation stay, and we should have been informed beforehand so we could decide whether to proceed with the rental.Beyond that, the home showed signs of significant deferred maintenance. The main sliding screen door to the backyard barely functioned properly. After reading prior reviews, we discovered another guest had reported the exact same issue nearly a year earlier, which strongly suggests it was never addressed.Another major issue was the constant construction noise directly behind the property. A large subdivision of townhomes is being built immediately beyond the backyard fence, something that was never disclosed in the listing or before arrival. From 8 a.m. until around 4 p.m. each day, including Saturday, there was nonstop hammering, loud machinery, backing-up truck beepers, and workers shouting. It made the backyard unusable for relaxing. This is a beautiful place to stay. My son is stationed at Camp Pendleton, so the location was perfect. The hosts are superb! We asked for an early check-in, because arriving to the airport from Minnesota and getting our rental was so quick. The hosts accommodated us. I was actually taken back by the number of team members that went out of their way to make sure this could happen for us! Staying at this house created so many great memories. My son’s birthday actually fell on Easter this year. My Fiancé and I did a big Easter egg hunt for our adult children. They loved it and the social space outside is amazing. My Fiancé and I had coffee outside every morning! Our adult kids loved it here, we were so blessed that my Marine son could leave base to enjoy this beautiful property with us!Thank you all for all you did to make our trip so memorable!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We stayed here while visiting family who live nearby, and it was the perfect home base for our trip.The spacious backyard was perfect for our pets, and we really appreciated having such a welcoming, pet-friendly home. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for walking your kids, grandkids, or pets.The location couldn’t have been better. Everything we needed was just a short distance away, including great restaurants and grocery stores.Inside, the home was just as impressive. The open layout made it easy for everyone to relax and spend quality time together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook comfortably, and the bedrooms were both spacious and very comfortable.Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. Having access to a washer and dryer in the garage was a big plus, and we also loved being able to park our car in the garage.Overall, this was the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable stay. Whether you’re visiting for the beaches, family attractions, or simply a peaceful getaway, this home truly has it all. We would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed staying in the house, which was convenient to the beaches and coastal towns in San Diego area, as well as the various attractions. The property managers were terrific as they responded to any of our requests promptly and cheerfully. The beds were very comfortable.

Everything exactly as described. A nice, safe, quiet location. A good size for our family of 5. Overall, a great stay.

The home was clean and easy to feel at home. Nice backyard. Would have liked a bigger table outside but still enjoyed the outdoor space. We will definitely be back in the future

The property was wonderful...great location, close to beaches, restaurants, clean and very comfortable. Perfect for us and our dog. Fay, who is the property manager was very responsive, helpful and a pleasure to know.

Great location, easy to access, clean and safe yard for the kids.

Paint peeling off of house greets you at the front, dead plants surround the back yard. The sliding doors were difficult to open, the attic access door kept banging open scaring us in the middle of the night. This place was definitely not as advertised or as expected.

Great place for my senior dad and aunt to spend a few days. The house has everything you need for a home away from home. Everything was simple, comfortable and a place i wpuld suggest to visiting friends and family!
