Stayed Mar 4, 2020Peaceful sleep to the sound of the surf with the moonlight! Whales and dolphins in the distance, beach right across the street. Cute little bedroom in the back yard with an outdoor shower. An original beach cottage with vintage charm and within walking distance to downtown Carlsbad. Everything we hoped for in a family vacation!

Stayed Dec 30, 2025The location is perfect. The game room/garage is really fun. The backyard is beautiful. The house is super charming and very nostalgic. It comes well stocked with everything you need, especially in the kitchen! It was a great stay and I would for sure go back again!

Stayed May 28, 2025Great little beach house, reminded us of staying at the beach when we were kids, property was clean and perfect location. Everything was walkable to the village.Could use some updating and a few more beach chairs, there were only 3 and there was 4 of us but we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025The location was the top factor in our decision to rent this property. We wanted to be close to the ocean and be able to walk to restaurants. We enjoyed, in the month of February, having the front enclosed area to enjoy our early mornings and evenings. The house was very well appointed. As a retired couple there was much we didn't use, mainly the many choices of beach equipment. This would be an excellent choice for a small group with kids. I loved having the picnic table, outdoor shower and clothesline, to name a few of the amenities we used. As the photos show it is an older home but well maintained.

Stayed Nov 26, 2024The minute we opened the door, we felt at home. Perfect location for beach and village. The cottage has everything you need to cook and for recreation, didn’t even turn on the TV. The view, the fresh air, the sound of the surf, and the beautiful sunsets make for a very special place.
