Cardinal Cottage - Hot tub!

We enjoyed our time at this property and the place was well stocked with everything that we needed. I would say the only negatives were that the Hot Tub was very dirty and needed to be cleaned. We were told that someone was going to come by and clean it, but not one ever did. Also, some parts of the home seemed not very clean. The window sills had dead bugs on them and the floors weren't exactly clean as well. Other than the cleanliness issues, this was a good place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay when visiting our daughter at UNC Asheville. The house is clean and comfy. The yard is beautiful and the hot tub was relaxing. It is quiet and the beds were comfy. It is close to Asheville so easy to get to town. Would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Cardinal Cottage! The house was very clean and everything was just like the listing said. Landscaping was beautiful and lush! My wife found the back yard to be a relaxing oasis which she enjoyed every day. Super nice bed in the master suite featured a Sleep Number mattress! Also, the location was awesome! Just a very short drive to some great restaurants in Weaverville. We had our family dog with us, so we especially loved the rear patio dining at Twisted Laurel. I would give this property the highest recommendation! Only a few minutes from Asheville, less than a 5 minute drive to some awesome restaurants and 2 Ingle's grocery stores (one of which has a Starbuck's), and in a very peaceful setting with wonderful landscaping that makes your stay hear even better! We would be excited to stay here again!

We had a lovely time at Cardinal Cottage! The amenities were as described and the backyard is stunning! We spend a lot of time on the patio. Would recommend!

Property in a little bit of an odd location ... behind a landscaping company yard. But certainly not a deterrent. The place is beautifully landscaped and if outdoor space is important to you, this is a real find. The entire yard is securely fenced in (very safe for the puppers) and it backs up to a wooded area. The house was clean with everything in working condition. 15 minute drive to Asheville and a quiet respite from the city. Only quasi-negative comments - could have used a few more towels for our group of 4(there were none in the hall bathroom) and a little odd that the owner didn't offer a phone # for an emergency contact, which is always helpful.

We have gotten to where we prefer renting houses when we take trips vs your standard hotel room. This place was perfect. Everything was clean. The labels on everything and notes to make it easier were excellent. We didn’t have time to take full advantage of everything this place had to offer but I could see bringing the rest of the family back for a long weekend. Great balance of being secluded and private while being close to everything in Asheville. Very happy with our stay. The master shower !!!

Thoughtful layout, relaxing atmosphere and the pet friendly fenced in yard was perfect.
