Our home is built on stilts and has a backyard full of citrus trees and orchids. Located at located 40 Oster Court, the house a beautiful two-bedroom home with a separate den/office with a bunk bed. Stayed Jun 9, 2026The house was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was great; close to beach, pool, pickleball courts and good restaurants.

Stayed May 1, 2026Amazing communication throughout process , from booking, to during and after the trip. The house is in such an awesome spot - walkable to many of the places to eat, the island store and the beach! Beautiful landscaping. Owner gave tips on area spots to visit, was always responsive to questions and just couldn’t be nicer! Area is very safe, clean and well appointed with comfy beds, an awesome screened in porch area, beach gear and wagon,,ample towels and a washer and dryer. Would definitely recommend thos house and this host.

Stayed Jun 3, 2025House is very well supplied with EVERYTHING you will need. Cooking supplies, toiletries, beach equipment, books, sunscreen etc. Owner was VERY responsive to any need you may have. I’ve stayed in this community several times, it’s one of my favorites in Captiva.

Stayed Apr 20, 2025This was our second stay in Sunset Captiva. It definitely won't be our last. Everything about the house and its location is perfect for us. With the home office, we were able to save time by checking in and printing our boarding passes before leaving for the airport. The kitchen has everything you need if you're into cooking your meals. The bed in the master bedroom is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in away from home. And the short walk to the beach makes for great shelling, sunning, and taking in those incredible sunsets. We're already looking at next year's dates.

Stayed Nov 18, 2023This was our first trip back to Captiva after Hurricane Ian and the island is coming along nicely. Sunset Captiva 40 is well maintained along with the property complex.
