Lansing, Michigan
Beautiful, 3 bedroom ranch. It has a pullout couch and an air mattress (on request) for sleeping extra guests. It's located in an up and coming Lansing neighborhood at the end of a dead end, that turns right into a cute little park. Walking distance to a park, so that if you have little ones, they can play. Wifi and Cable included. Washer/Dryer in the basement is free to use. There's an air hockey table in the basement also.
Well maintained, clean, inviting.
I stayed at this property for 5 nights while working storm claims. The place was clean and comfortable with everything needed. Dean the host was extremely helpful and quickly responded to any questions. I would stay here again if in the area.
Two of three beds had only bottom sheet
was a nice cozy place to stay. we locked ourselves out and Dean was great he got the house opened up within the hour.
Property wasn't very clean (dirt on fans, stove and oven not pristine, yard not cut and trash on it), and the smell of mold (or something else) was overpowering. Property manager was wonderful, letting us cancel the reservation immediately, and refunding our payment.
My 1st time using Vrbo. Very good experience. Cozy home. Enjoyed cooking for and with family. I won't stay in a hotel again.
This was a great place to stay!
I would rent again and I will my sister lives a couple blocks away. Nice home, rooms, yard, and location. Thank you.
Home was very clean and very functional. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Just a few small suggestions: (1) The front screen door will not snap shut...we had to secure it with masking tape to keep it from banging in the wind at night. (2) More importantly, we attempted to speak directly with the owner, by phone, prior to our arrival so that we could briefly discuss a few issues/questions....It seemed to us that a simple telephone conversation was not one of the owner's favored approaches to communicating. All we ever got from the owner was a written statement of his rules without even an opportunity to discuss any special accommodations (e.g., an early ONE-TWO HOUR check in time would have really helped us out AND the house had been last vacated at 10 AM the prior day). But NO opportunity for discussion rather just a boilerplate text citing the rules (3) Finally, as a 30 year executive administrator in universities and hospitals around the country (and Notre Dame lawyer), I certainly understand the need for rules and written instructions. However, I've always found that taking the time to speak directly with people ensures the best level accuracy, understanding AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. A further example: We vacated the rental very early Thursday AM and didn't realize that the sheets were supposed to be started in the wash prior to leaving...My wife didn't get the owner's text until we were already heading north past St Johns. My wife felt bad because she always strives to leave the rental units cleaner than when we arrived...and that has always been the impression made with every rental owner over the years (e.g., My God, we have never found our place left in such perfect condition or You even take your garbage with you! or You guys must own a motel or B&B). Again, we must take the time to talk with people. It ensures accurate communications and makes people feel good and appreciated. Every failed manager throughout my career failed because they didn't take the time to listen to others. (PS: Still awaiting full deposit refund to cr. card. Thanks).
The house was nice and located in the middle of a neighborhood on a dead end street. Owner was easy to work with. I only wish there was more seating and the kitchen was stocked better.
Everything provided for your stay. Comfy couches and great big TV.
