The house was perfect for our needs and we had a good vacation. Well-stocked kitchen, all instructions were clear and detailed, and covered everything we needed to know. Finding the boardwalk was a little tricky the first day; perhaps the host could add a little diagram of how to get to it.

Great property - very short walk on a wooden boardwalk to the beach. House is appointed with everything needed for a great getaway including a wagon to easily pull all of your chairs, cooler, and beach toys to the beach!

We were looking for a quick beach trip without all the craziness of busier areas like orange beach or Panama City beach. The Port St. Joe/Cape San Blas area did not disappoint! The condo is located 10-15 minutes from Port St. Joe. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the owner responded quickly when I texted asking a question. We enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach is more on the 5-10 minute side but there were a lot of people fishing so we loaded up and drove to another beach. There are plenty of public access areas within 10-15 minutes of driving, so we drove to the public park past Cape San Blas, paid 6 to enter, and had quick access to a nice beach with public restrooms and a little store/bait shop nearby. Unlike other areas we’ve been to, you aren’t chair to chair on the beach. There are plenty of places to eat in Port St. Joe. We tried peppers, Joe mamas wood fired kitchen, KrazyFish and the brick wall. I would recommend any of them. If you are looking for a convenient, clean place to stay - then book it!

We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Scallop! We had a few issues at check in with the cleaning crew working late but the owner was so quick to solve our problems and comped us cleaning fees. This house was the perfect size for our family and the kids enjoyed lots of cousin time playing board games, visiting the beach, watching movies and making memories! We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and we were in the perfect location. It was the perfect place! We will be back!

Communication with Robert was quick and concise. Arrival was easy, parked and inside within moments. Property just as described. Nice being able to park under the house. Short walk to the beach. CSB is very natural, not much traffic, yet anything you need is a short drive away. The beach is beautiful, the bay is also beautiful. We kayaked several times in the bay, great place to paddle, relax on a sand bar, or catch some fish.

Our stay this year was shorter than the last time, but Robert was accommodating by not requiring 7 days like many other rentals. There were more toys than we anticipated, including a couple of bikes, a wagon to haul things to the beach, cornhole boards, some floats, and chairs and sand toys. It looked like there were some remodeling projects started which will I'm sure help future stays be as nice as ours was. Thank you Robert. We enjoyed our 4th trip to CSB.

Had a nice stay. House was clean and the owner is very accommodating. Only negatives were cleaning service only had one roll of toilet paper in the house and only 1 ice tray. Both easily remedied. Would stay here again
