Cape Cod in the summer - there’s nothing like it!

The listing is accurate! What a fun house with lots of history. Being able to enjoy blackberries in the garden was a bonus for the kids for sure!

Enjoyed our stay. Great to have separate bathrooms for each bedroom. Loved the TV room / year round porch. Giant fenced in yard kept our dog busy for hours.

We had an amazing stay at this clean, historical property. It's an excellent location and a really beautiful spot. The yard is so nice to have as well. Just a note that both stairways are rather steep in case there are elderly folks or people with disabilities staying with you. There is a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor that is much more accessible. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

Charming home, beautiful property, convenient and easy! We had a great stay!

Booking and checkin were seamless! The home is cozy and welcoming! Very clean and charming. I couldn’t stop taking photographs! My one note is that the back stairs are so steep and the ceiling was so low that I preferred to block them off so no one would use them during our stay. The third bedroom is lovely but as you come out the door and into the hallway, there is a step down onto half a landing with the other half being the top step in the staircase. We didn’t need that third bedroom so I just closed the door so no one would go in there but potential renters should know about this just so they are aware. It is an old historic home and these things are part of the charm but bringing my 18 month old grandson along on this trip caused me to look at things differently. The overall experience was wonderful!!!

We loved our stay at the Charles Gray home. It had so much charm and we enjoyed each area of the home. We loved the property and gardens as well. The home included everything we might need! Don't hesitate to rent this home, we would definitely come back to it in the future. We would highly recommend this home for adults as well as families with young children. Lovely historical home in West Barnstable. Great outdoor space. Very well equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms and three baths. Excellent communication with owners.

The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. Better than the pictures. Our children were in heaven in the backyard. We had to force them to go to the beach, they just loved all the gardens and berries and privacy! Inside was amazing too- incredibly clean, so well stocked with anything you could ever need! The bedrooms were so cozy and adorable. The owner thought of everything and was available and very informative. We couldn’t have asked for more. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Also the location was great- easy to get to other towns on the Cape and out and about. We would come back in a heart beat.

This is just a truly beautiful home! The grounds are lush and ample. We had a wonderful time in Cape Cod! I wish our stay was longer. Check in was easy. Having a first floor bedroom was great and needed. The bathrooms are clean and beautiful. It was so nice to be able to have our dog with us and know she was safe in the yard! We spent 3 days with friends at this property. The house was equipped with everything we needed and well maintained. We appreciated the tranquillity and warm atmosphere of this historic home and the nicely landscaped garden. The location was convenient to visit the surrounding. We highly recommend this property.
