Cape Cod home in great location! Walk to downtown

It was like stepping back in time at your grandmas house. Paneling and antique furniture. Clean and cozy. Great location to mystic and Foxwoods!

It felt homely we all enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed playing the games and guitars. I learnt my girlfriend don't need a TV in the bedroom to sleep . Will book again if it's available.

Very nice location. We visited for a concert at Foxwoods Perfect for beach nearby and the fun historic westerly ri.

This cottage serve our purpose by providing 3 bedroomd. Our CG cadets enjoyed fixing a dinner in the kitchen and playing the guitars. The location offered a safe environment and we we're only about 25 minutes from the Coast Guard Academy. However, if you wanted to increase rentals then the owner might consider these additional improvement. 1) Remove the couch and chair from the living room and replace it with the couch and chair in the back room. 2) Scrape the bathroom ceiling and paint it.3) Get new silverware and new linens for the bathroom and bedrooms.4) Remove personal items and pictures from the closets and coffee table. 5) Purchase new blinds.

We had an amazing weekend at this cottage. It’s cozy, charming, and feels like a well-loved family home. We felt completely comfortable and at ease the entire time. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for the weekend. Great location for us going to Mystic and Foxwoods. Everything was as expected - I read a lot of other reviews. Definitely Grandma’s house type of feel - kids felt comfy immediately.

This is a very comfortable old-timey kind of house -- definitely nothing fancy, but the kind of place you can feel right at home in. It's located just a few minutes from 78 and 95, so is pretty convenient to many things, including downtown Westerly. This was the second time two friends and I shared it, and it worked out quite well for us both times. It has comfortable beds and a fully functional kitchen (minus dishwasher).

This was perfect for us, homey and unpretentious (we called it Grandma's house), but definitely dated. The location was very convenient and the neighborhood well-maintained; the beds were comfortable and sheets and towels nice, but the property could really benefit from some simple upgrades - e.g., replacing cracked plastic trash can in kitchen; replacing old, yellowed welcome instructions; and some decluttering (such as removing the someof the many partially used sauces in the fridge and condiments in the cabinets-a few are convenient, but too many feel junky). And the WiFi only worked sporadically. Not to complain, but, though it was certainly clean, it needs freshening up.

The house provided exactly what we needed as a group. The accommodation was very welcoming and the location was great!

It was like borrowing a friend's vacation home. Real people lived there, which made it real comfortable for visitors.

Cute little Cape Cod style house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.eveythibg was clean. Kitchen had decent cooking supplies. Window ACs worked well on hot July days. Exactly what we needed for our trip.

My family stayed here for two nights as part of a New England road trip. This house was perfect for us. It was a short drive to Mystic and to Misquamicut Beach. The back deck was nice for dinner and games.

The house was clean and had a cozy feel. Good location too, with a lot of restaurants/ neat stores nearby. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to go on vacation to Connecticut.

Dan’s place is cozy and will remind you of your grandparents house. It is a close drive to area attractions. Once we were back from the day’s adventure, we would play games around the kitchen table. Beds are comfortable. The Deck and backyard are nice areas to hang when it’s nice outside.

Dan was an amazing host. The house was adorable and gave us a home away from home experience. It was extremely cozy and perfect for our family getaway. Could not have pick a better place to stay.

We stayed for a long weekend after a conference in middle CT. House was clean and information correct. Many family pictures and items from decades past. Reminded us of a house on lake Candlewood we had for 75 years.

This quaint property was in a very quiet neighborhood and close to all attractions. It definitely had that lived in feeling. So much so that the owner's personal belongings were everywhere in the house. Perhaps a very deep clean out of old pantry items in cabinets and clutter in the closets would allow renters to better utilize those spaces.

Our 2-night stay was fine. The house is as described, feels like grandma and grandpa just stepped out to run errands. Neighborhood is well kept & quiet, and only minutes away from all amenities you would need. Thank you for your hospitality, Dan!

Location was nice, felt safe. House was clean and as described. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Close to a market for convenience.

This small, quaint house is located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to many places like downtown Westerly, the beaches, etc. The house is exactly what others have reviewed: small cottage with outdated furniture and appliances. If you don't mind feeling like you are staying in your grandparents house (which we didn't) it's a great place to call your home base.
