Canal Front-Sweet Nautical Décor Near Beach-Bayshore Amenities!

For our stay we booked 3 weeks in advanced. I was bringing myself and my kids with the dog. The listing came up with pet safe property search, however upon arrival was contacted by property management that I needed to find different accommodations for the pet. I am thankful they worked with me instead of eviction from the property. There is also no washer and dryer available for use. There is very little decor, the garage is extremely rusted, there looks to be condensation in the window. So staying lengthy time like we did, I have kids and need to do laundry. There is one television and another with a DVD player in a kids room. The kitchen is pretty well stocked. The back deck has had boards replaced but the deck color is uneven. Back door was covered in some silty film. We found a glove on the back deck. This home is nice but it is not worth the price we paid. I always book with other places and never have a problem. This was my first time renting with this site and I am disappointed. I appreciate the property management was easy to contact and work out benefit for all parties. I will however not stay here again.

Location was nice. House was a bit run down and poorly decorated. There were no extra blankets anywhere in the house and each bed only had a thin worn out quilt. Light colored carpets were worn and stained. Overall Overall

Pictures of this property were obviously taken YEARS ago. Current condition of the property is questionable. Garage door is crumbling due to rust issues and the red paint has all but peeled away. Not a very attractive place to stay for the money spent. Positives: Inside of home was clean and there was new BBQ out back and you have beach access after a short drive to the Bay Shore Club parking lot. BE AWARE!! - the link in the reservation for the location of the home is incorrect. It sends you to a completely different house on a different street. Also, there is no public access to the beach they list as close by - Holly Beach. Could never find it. Everything in the home is old and needs updating (except the couch, that looked new). My recommendation?... look for another home for a bit more per night and you will probably find something in the nicer range. This was a last minute need for us and we were grateful it was available but it begs the question: Why was it available during the height of tourist season? Answer: Owner of property really needs to take some of the profits and update the entire property if they want to keep renting it out for the price they are charging. Would not stay here again nor would recommend it to anyone.

Great location for crabbing on the Alsea Bay, however the property was quite run down. Carpets were pretty dirty, along with couch. Could use an update. Won't rent again, with other homes around it much cleaner and more updated.

The house was lovely and easy to get around, fine, great neighborhood for waking in and easy to get between Yachats and Newport. The house was clean, with a lovely view in the back yard area. The neighborhood is quiet and clean.
