Big Pine Key, Florida
Welcome to paradise! Want to live like a local Fish the reefs, snorkel Looe Key, dive for lobster, or kayak to the open water of Big Pine Channel, where dolphin and manatee play. Then return to your denizen and watch the boats turn for home. Relax on the porch, as the key deer meander out of the thickets in the early evening. Watch as a spectacular sunset turns to the kind of darkness only seen in the Keys! Or..... just watch TV all day. Anything goes.
The house is itself is fully furnished with all the amenities. Central AC, ceiling fans throughout, dishwasher, washer/dryer, range, microwave, toaster, fridge, various coffee makers.
There is plenty of room for a boat trailer or RV in a side lot adjacent to the house. Bigger boats are welcome. We have 70 feet of dock space for your enjoyment.......but the greatest thing about the house is its proximity to open water. No winding through tiny canals and under low bridges to reach the Atlantic or backcountry. Start the boat and go!
Big Pine is centrally located to lots of attractions, including a turtle hospital, a dolphin research center, a state park, and beautiful beaches. Key West is only 30 miles away!!
We were very happy with the house, the view, outside area was set up very nice and we spent a lot of time out there when we were not in our boat. Plenty of dock space and parking. 1st choice for when we return to the keys. Communication was easy with owner and associates. Thank you
This was our 3 time staying at this property. It was wonderful as usual and the new tiki hut was great! We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else!
Property had everything you need. Plenty of space, very accessible, boat was no trouble to get in and out to open waters, plenty of parking, short distance to grocery store and ice maker and bait freezer on property. Smooth sailing...
We very much enjoyed our second year at this property. The new additions of the bait freezer and ice maker are amazing! My husband says we can not stay anywhere else. Do not hesitate to stay here, I promise you will love it.
One of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in, beautiful quite neighborhood, Key deer everywhere & a great spot on the canal to keep a boat. The house has so many small touches that made us all feel right at home. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us !
We had a wonderful 10 night stay! The home is very comfortable and well stocked. The screened porch is a must for evening sitting as the bugs will eat you alive. We brought our 23’ boat and the dock is in good shape with easy, deep water access to the channel. Plenty of room for our trailer as well as our truck. Kayaks and bikes were a nice touch. We had an issue with the refrigerator not working upon arrival. The property manager, Jason was there the next day to take a look. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be repaired, so we had 5 days of living out of the mini fridge which we brought upstairs to the kitchen, until the new one arrived. We know things break and it worked out fine in the end, not a big deal. We plan on coming back again and again. Don’t hesitate to book this great home!
My wife, Stacy and I and our four kids loved our stay on Big Pine. Mango lane is quiet and the house was perfect. It was clean and comfy with direct access to the water via the canal that backs up to the property. I loved spending my mornings on the back patio/balcony, drinking coffee and watching the boats pass by. The property has an equipped kitchen or a grill on the patio, if you prefer. Two full bathrooms, two bedrooms and two of my kids slept on the two couches in the living room. Direct TV and flat panel TVs in three of the rooms. Plenty of space for our stay and a short drive to Key West!!! We enjoyed our stay and plan on going back!
