Camino Mountain Villa - Luxury Mountain Retreat

Excellent private property and as advertised.

The property was very nice, one of the best pools we had had. However, the hot tub did not work properly and there was a terrible ant infestation. They were responsive to the issue and sent pest control right out, but the issue was not resolved.

The house, amenities, and property were top notch - beautiful place with impeccable touches, inside and out. Extremely comfortable and accommodating, while being very quiet and convenient to downtown Palm Springs (minutes). The kitchen is well stocked, the home decor is very hip, and the updates are well done. We were looking for a place that had a nice outdoor space as well, and this house has it all - heated pool, in-ground hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and large fire pit table - perfect for what we wanted. The neighborhood is very nice with surrounding homes formerly owned by Sonny/Cher, Suzanne Sommers, King Gillette - large, classy and classic. The management company was instantaneously responsive on all fronts. One of the best VRBO's we've had -- would recommend and rent again.

The place is very nice. The problem is the management company does not have an understanding of the individual properties. The electronics throughout the house, and there are numerous, internet, pool and hot tub, shades, front gate, front door, lights, alarm. All were problems… And all required a technician to come into the house. Each time they came out they had no idea how the various systems worked, since every home owner has a different way to set things up. There was no, in-house manual, it’s all online and it’s useless anyway… Vague and outdated. The spa/hot tub was is terrible working condition. The reason I went with VRBO was the by owner part…. however I was not allowed to contact the owner. Ya know, the person who actually knew how everything worked.

What an amazing place to stay, our family loved it! The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into this rental, from all the small things (outlets for phone charging, record player, pool towels, great coffee beans) to all the big things (great interior design, great pool with easy instructions, nice built in grill). We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved the house and especially the pool. Very clean with all the essentials. The location was great and close to everything we needed. Would absolutely stay there again next time.

I have 1 complaint!!!! It’s that I couldn’t extend even when they offered due to my work needing me back in the business LMAO!!!!! This place was unreal, & PERFECT!!!! We constantly wished this was our place in San Diego, CA. My kids swam in their heated pool everyday. Honestly, most of the time we stayed in and just ordered in from nearby places because why would you venture out when this place is AMAZING and has everything you need for a great family vacation. The Indian canyon trails is down the street to the right and the main Palm Springs strip was down the street to the left. Lastly, I truly appreciate the management team noticing it was my birthday on Day 1 and left a nice welcoming surprise as we walked in. I didn’t even mention it. Definitely a place we will stay again in future outings to Palm Springs!!!! Appreciate you all Acme Company

This house was truly incredible from the moment we arrived. Everything was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and very well stocked. The property managers were so helpful and easy to communicate with. We can’t say enough amazing things about the beautiful outdoor spaces, pristine pool, gorgeous foliage, and perfect and serene location. We can’t wait to go back!

The house had all of the features one would want for a weekend or extended stay. The outside featured a secluded pool and hot tub, large bar/grill area and a gas fire pit. The inside had three large bedrooms, a game room and a very well-equipped kitchen. We had planned to spend a fair amount of time exploring downtown Palm Springs which is only two miles away but quickly concluded there was no reason to leave the home to fight the crowds. Everything we needed was on-site. The neighborhood was super quiet despite the fact we were there over a holiday weekend.
