Cambria Ocean View Tudor on Forested Preserve

Do not stay here. Owner has some sort of video surveillance system on the property which he watches all day. After checking in, he called us up and started screaming - ranting - that we were walking around the property. Only it wasn't us, we were in town having dinner. We had no idea what he was yelling about. As a career Human Resources manager, with training in workplace violence recognition we politely asked host to just leave us alone - we had pre-paid for 3 days. He kept harassing us, threatening if we wrote a bad review. We kept doors locked, knowing there was both a lunatic and stalker around. Too bad, otherwise the property would be OK, quiet neighborhood. Mini ocean view. Furniture is uncomfortable, all the eating areas have high top tables, so not appropriate for kids or older people. Cambria is a wonderful town. Don't take a chance - stay somewhere else.

Kitchen was clean and fully equipped except no coffee filters which were easily bought at local supemkt. Laundry appeared fine although we did not need to use it.Host is polite, helpful and prompt.

The rental was very comfortable with unique and high quality materials used throughout the home. The beds in the master bedroom and second biggest bedroom were very comfortable. The view from the decks - stunning of ocean and forest. The kitchen was large and beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay there and would absolutely return for a visit.

We loved our long weekend in Cambria. The house had everything we needed and the sunset views were amazing! We can’t wait to return!

We were in the area to attend our niece's wedding at the Cambia Pines Lodge. Our two adult daughters were with us. This beautiful property was perfect for our needs. The host was very helpful, the home was spotless and well appointed. We enjoyed the deck with the beautiful view.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at this house. We love the area and the nature is amazing in this location. We will be back again some day.

It was a lovely place, so quiet and peaceful. The view was great with beautiful sunsets. The deer, wild turkeys and array of birds were an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Peaceful stay amongst the pines with the ocean in the distance. Clean and well stocked with an amenable and civilized host.

The neighborhood and surroundings were beautiful. The house is gorgeous and well kept. James was extremely attentive, and made sure our stay was comfortable. We had and exceptional weekend. Seaview on Burton is everything we imagined and more to meet our needs. Thanks James for your hospitality.

We were really looking forward to our stay and we were all a little underwhelmed. The house was decent, but showed it's age. There were cobwebs throughout the house and the towels smelled musty. The place felt like it could do with a lick of paint. The deck furniture was not very nice (worn wood) and the area in the backyard appeared messy and unkept. There were a few minor issues regarding the wifi and washing machine which the owner responded to very promptly.

Great house, nicely appointed. Location was fabulous for walking and cycling - easy to walk through the trees to the water and enjoy all the nice close-by hiking in Cambria. The owner was great at communication and the property had two king sized beds - which is great for two couples and very hard to find.The non ensuite bathroom was a little dated and dark - not a showstopper for us - but a little room for improvement. We would happily return.

Six high school girlfriends on an annual weekend away. This house was perfect for our needs. Bedrooms are spacious, with the main bedroom having a deck with amazing views. Main floor with another deck and BBQ.dining room was the right size

The entire area and experience was wonderful. The host was very communicative and helpful. Will be booking again the next time we are in the area. Great area and place for all kinds of groups.

Overall the property and the home was lovely. Check in was delayed a little, because the wrong code was given. This was rectified in a short amount of time. A few things like shampoo, blow dryer, aluminum foil, saran wrap and a step stool could be added to make it a little easier for guests. (We're short!) These are usually on site at most air b & bs we've stayed. Not a problem if we had known to bring our own. These views of the pines and ocean are beautiful. We only saw 1 little squirrel on the property, but many turkeys on the road leading up to the house. We had a wonderful 3 nights! Thank you James.

Wonderful stay. Host was communicative and helpful across the board. Check-in was easy breezy. Location is unreal- gorgeous walk through the woods to the beach and ~40 minute drive to downtown Paso Robles. Cambria is my new happy place.

Very charming home in a beautiful neighborhood. The house was very spacious and kitchen was huge. The location is beautiful because it's surrounded by trees way up on a hill, we saw deer and wild turkeys many times when we drove from town to the house and I enjoyed looking at all of the other unique homes on the way to this house. All the bedrooms were big (very large master bedroom) and great natural light in the kitchen and living room. There were a few things I wish could have been a little different. We couldn't get into the house for about an hour after arriving because we were given the wrong code for the door (an innocent mistake but really frustrating after our long drive). Also a few things I wish were taken care of, lots of cob webs on the deck and a few in the dining room, we wanted to use the bbq but the ignitor wasn't working, a Christmas decoration in the living room in the middle of summer, and I found old rusty paint cans under the sink in the bathroom when I went to put something down there. Of course these things were minor and we still enjoyed this beautiful home.
