Cahaba Cabana - Spacious 4BR Home w/ Fenced Yard

Property is real easy to find. However, it's not the cleanest. When I walked through the backdoor to check out the back yard I walked into a spider web they must have almost covered the whole door. There was a broken window pane on the back that hadn't been fixed but the property manager obviously knew about. I'm pretty sure that was dried tomato sauce on the floor when we got there so not sure when the last time it had mopped. Overall it wasn't just super clean but the house seems to be fairly old also.

Had a great time playing golf at Oxmoor Valley. The Cahaba Cabana was perfect for our trip. Clean and spacious with plenty of room for 4 old guys to relax after enjoying two full days of golf.

We came for an event at Oak Mountain. Lovely drive to the park from here. Great location close to groceries and restaurants. Home is spacious and had plenty of room for us. Great fenced in yard.

We were in Helena to visit my daughter and her fiancé for the holidays and attend their engagement party. The Cahaba Cabana was a great location for us since our daughter lives just a few minutes away. The spacious, open kitchen and family room and four bedrooms worked well for our six adults and one toddler. We didn’t get a chance to use it, but there was a very spacious fenced-in back yard that would be perfect if you wanted to relax or cook outside or have pets. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

We stayed for 2 nights. We did not spend much time in the house. The house met our needs for sleeping and showering. Unfortunately, the house has not been taken care of very well. When we walked into the front door we were blown away by the unpleasant animal smell. The smell was significant throughout the home. The master shower had mold around the crease of the floor and a few other places throughout in the caulk. The ceiling fan in the main living space & master bedroom did not work. The stairs are in need of repair with a noticeable slant. We were charged for “extra people” even though that is never mentioned in the description. When I asked about this I was sent this Message from the host “We charge a base rate for up to 4 guests so that smaller groups are not being charged for additional utilities and linens that they will not use. We could increase our rates across the board, but it doesn’t seem fair to charge your group of 6 for utilities and linens for 8. I’m not sure about a management fee. We don’t bill a management fee“ So the price advertised is not for 8 ppl. We were given 1 towel per person for the entire weekend which was not enough. Especially in the hottest summer months. I have had Vrbo rental properties for many years so I know what it takes to keep a property rentable. I leave this honest review so the next person is aware of what they are paying for.

House was amazing. Location was amazing. We had a great time.

This house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It was clean and comfortable but the kitchen was sparsely furnished had we planned to do any cooking. Beleive it or not the bathrooms do not have holder for toilet tissue. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom did not work. The beds were comfortable enough.

The house is beautiful and tastefully furnished. The property manager was very helpful and when I let them know about not having a waffle maker they delivered one and a crockpot to the front door.

The location of the house was great, quiet and welcoming but inside the house needed some sweeping and the back door was jammed (maybe due to cold). House was very spacious, heater worked perfectly! TVs may need replacing because they didn’t work properly.
