Cactus Hollow Desert Resort~Spa~Sauna~Cold Plunge~Outdoor Theatre~Game Room~Golf

House was a lot of fun and kept everyone in the family well entertained! We slept comfortably and had an easy time of checking in and out. The neighborhood is a bit sleepy, but was conveniently located to Sedona for good restaurants and hikes!

Great home with lots of amenities in a quiet neighborhood and awesome location! Bedrooms have super comfortable beds, blackout curtains and tvs. Outdoor space is amazing — we loved stargazing from the hot tub. Cold plunge and sauna made it feel like we were at a spa! Our teens loved the game room and spent hours playing pool and foosball. The house is a few minutes from Old Town Cottonwood (and Sedonuts) and not too far from red rocks and Sedona. Highly recommend!

The house has a lot of activities and I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy them all. It was clean and had nice seating.

We (3 adults 5 children) arrived at 11 PM, and were unable to enter home as door-code was denied. Listing advertises, arrive at ANY time (as we would need) but host was unreachable, with calls going directly to VM. VRBO rep was unable to reach host or help us, as back-up door code also was repeatedly denied. After 90 minutes (at 12:30 AM) with no response from host, VRBO told us to look for a hotel, that WE would be responsible for. This was unacceptable.I resorted to sneaking around to the back of the house with flashlight. Opening fence gate (thankfully I'm 6'6 and could reach over and unlock gate). And find window or door left unlocked.Host was apologetic, but did not take accountability. Onsite help arrived next morning to confirm that door keypad was defective, and did not accept ANY code. We were given default/generic code for remainder of stay.Had I not found MY OWN WAY into this house this would have been a disaster and less than a 1-star review.Furthermore, entire house smelled strongly of rotten food as kitchen sink food disposal was filled with grease/fat/mold.Otherwise it was a good visit with amenities as described except cold plunge, as the exterior water hose is much too short to reach tank.

Really neat place, very quiet even though it was in a neighborhood. The hot tub, sauna, movie set up outside, firepit - it was all great! we also enjoyed that there were TV's in all the rooms. With older parents on the trip and our teens, they all enjoyed retreating when needed to their own areas and had different sleep schedules. The game room was beautiful and very unique! overall enjoyed very much.
