Cabot`s Modern-Day Beach House

Clean, well appointed and modern place. Bbq worked great. Super location for views. Seals can be seen easily from the deck. Satelite dish wasn’t working but we didn’t mind it. Location is fairly close to the cabot trail, and although the skyline trail is very busy, it is about 25 minutes away - we did a sunset tour. Highly recommend this place - this was two couples and more than enough space for each. Cheers

Our stay was great. Nice selection of supplies, well maintained, very clean, and beautiful view from the deck. Thanks for a great stay! I highly recommend that you read the house rules as to what to expect during the stay from the instructions provided by the host.

Beautiful views and a super accessible and friendly host made for a great experience right on the Cabot Trail. Comfy beds, perfect location to the Highlands Park and gorgeous sights right from the windows made this an unforgettable stay.

Outstanding place. Great location, beautiful views, very clean and roomy. Michael, our host was very accommodating and made sure we were well aware of all the attractions and activities. Cabot Trail lived up to its reputation. Will definitely stay with this host again if we’re lucky enough to make another trip to Nova Scotia

Nice place! Comfortable for a family or two couples. Modern appliances (including washer-dryer) and plenty of cookware in good condition. The house can heat up in the afternoon, but does have AC. Great for stargazing.

We've stayed in many VRBO properties, and this one was among our favorites. Super clean, high-end, very comfortable--and what a view! Michael was an awesome host and can't thank him enough for sharing this incredible home with us. Absolutely nothing was overlooked! He has several other properties on VRBO as well--all equally appealing.Loved exploring Cheticamp and the park. Found ourselves in Baddeck quite a bit for the puffin and Bras d'Or Lake tours and the Bell museum. We also enjoyed a van tour with local guide. Learned so much more than we could on our own.We are definitely considering another Cape Breton adventure!

What a great place in Cheticamp! The location is convient to Highlands National Park, driving the Cabot Trail, and good local restaurants. We really liked Au Coin bakery, Last Chance Sandwich Shop, and L'Abri. The layout of the house is perfect as the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the home. Our hosts were quick to reach out and ensure we were informed of all special considerations for access and area interests. The house has plenty of supplies and the plentiful labeled, dimmer switches is appreciated. Highly recommend and we can't wait to return.

The property is as advertised. Clean and modern. Kitchen is well equiped with modern appliances, utensils, plates/ dishes, etc. Beautiful view. Short drive to grocery store. Close to at least 5 restaurants. I would be happy to stay here again.

This beach house was perfect for my husband and me. We went to Cape Breton to hike, explore the Cabot Trail, and eat seafood. Its location on the water, and being close to the National Park was just right. The house was very clean and modern, and the sunsets were amazing. Michael was very accommodating and responsive. He has equipped the kitchen with everything you might need for preparing meals. We would definitely stay there again if we ever return to Cheticamp. BTW, the Acadian Trail, which starts at the NP Visitors Center, is fantastic.

This beautiful, relaxing retreat was at the end of our Nova Scotia adventures. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the site as well as how convenient it was being near Chéticamp and the Cabot Trail. This is right on the ocean, though beach access is just down the road. This is definitely a well thought out luxury rental in every way. It was clean, comfortable and well supplied with anything you might need to stay there. Lovely furnishings and decorating. West facing means you get the beautiful sunsets over the ocean. We loved our stay but wished it could have been longer. We highly recommend this wonderful, peaceful retreat.

Lovely setting and nice digs. Very nicely equipped. Property manager was quick to reply to any questions, had good suggestions for dining... would definitely stay again.

Everything was great with no disappointments. Host is very accommodating and a he is a great communicator. We would return.

This place is the perfect spot to get away. From the time we got out of the car and heard the ocean our blood pressure dropped 20 points. The unit itself is comfortable, clean and well equipped. Our only mistake was not staying here longer. But we’ll definitely be backm

We had a great time at this property. The check-in instructions were good, and the cottage was spotless when we arrived. Michael kept us informed of weather warnings for the region and inquired how our stay was going in case we needed anything. The way the cottage is designed is excellent for 2 couples, as each can have some privacy. The kitchen was well stocked. There was a large supply of drinking water bottles, and we didn't run out (the water from the tap is clean, but not suitable for drinking). There was also lots of towels, which was appreciated since we stayed for 1 week. We spent many hours on the deck, relaxing and enjoying the view. We had several amazing sunsets, and truly enjoyed our stay at this property.

My family had a great stay at Michael’s property. The views are breathtaking with a short drive or walk to access the local beach. Close to all the amenities of Chéticamp and to check out the Cabot Trail. The property was spotless, with a well stocked kitchen and having AC was lovely. The deck offered the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Great spot!

We had a great time at this home . Set up is perfect . No stairs and bedroom/bathrooms on each side with common areas in the middle . Four sliding doors show off the amazing view . Host was very responsive and helpful . We enjoyed the area and this home very much
