Cabin w/ Hot Tub, resort gameroom, two pools - 1/2 mile to Pigeon Forge Parkway

We liked the location of the property. The condo itself was adorable but there were a few little things that we noticed. The wood floor was extremely sticky. The saddle between the kitchen and den needs to be fixed. The carpets definitely need to be professionally cleaned. There are many stains. The place needs to be freshened up with paint, marks everywhere. The light switches were dirty. The toilet paper holder in the master bath fell off several times and wet could not get it back on. The water pressure throughout need to be addressed. The master bed was ok. The 3 inch topper was good but the sheets would not stay on the bed because of it. There wasn't any extra pillow cases and some of the blankets or throws had holes in them and they smelled. There is only 2 beds and 3 pullout couches so not sure how this would fit 10 people. Saying all of this, we would definitely stay again if these issues were addressed.

Place was clean and had everything we needed. The place struggled to keep it cool below 78-80 during the day on the main level. We were grateful the bedrooms had separate A/C's for sleeping. The doors could use some adjusting/fixed-the kids could not open them because they were sticking. Other than it being well used it served our stay very good.

The cabin was clean and ready to go when we got there. The hot tub was clean as well. Great location! The host communicated effectively and made sure I had no issues with getting checked into the cabin!

We loved the place! We were four 80 yo ladies and we had a grand time in your cabin. It was everything you advertised! We only used the hot tub one night but enjoyed it. We were too busy! We went to Cades Cove, Apple Barn, the new Diner there on the Parkway. We had banana Splits at the diner at the corner of Wears Valley Road and the parkway. The location was great!We will be back!

We had a flawless experience

We have been to Pigeon Forge for lots of classic car shows but this is the first time we've rented a cabin. The property owners are super nice and messaged back quickly! The home is clean and adorable with lots of space. This home was perfect for us as a couple traveling with our teenager. We will absolutely be back!!

The location was excellent and everything was accurately described in the listing. The private hot tub was in excellent condition and the indoor pool / hot tub were also exactly as described.

This cute cabin is tucked away from the busy city of Pigeon Forge, but close enough to all attractions. The size of house was perfect and provided a wonderful morning view of the mountains from the master bedroom on the top floor.

Property really needs a deep clean. Bed still had dog hair on it from the last guest and looked like blood on the pillow. Washer has black mold growing in it and master bed was caved in from a poor fix someone attempted. Had to sleep on the floor the first night and left a day early. Owners were nice but I’m assuming they don’t visit often because whoever they hire to clean and manage the place is doing a poor job

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin and will do so again in the future. The hosts were amazing, and so helpful. I highly recommend staying at one of their cabins. This is our 2nd cabin that we’ve stayed at.

Beyond perfect location. Solid walls - making it quiet at night. Felt clean, slept great.

The cabin was nice and roomy. It claimed to sleep 10 but only had 2 queen beds & 2 sleeper sofas which was suitable for our party of 4 and a baby. The hot tub was out of chlorine so we did not use it. We were really only there to sleep and it was satisfactory for our needs. Beware though, we were there over two weeks ago and the host is just now claiming that we clogged the garbage disposal and is charging 150. This is a false claim. We literally ate out every meal & I cannot imagine what it even takes to clog a garbage disposal. Certainly not beverages and baby formula….

The cabin needs attention. The jacuzzi tub didn't work. The wallpaper was torn and hanging. The garbage disposal was not working and there was food in it and the water backed up causing food to come up in the sink which drained very slowly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bear Retreat! The cabin’s location in Pigeon Forge was perfect, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The amenities were fantastic—from relaxing in the hot tub to having access to the gym. Everything was spotless, and the multi-level layout gave our family plenty of space to spread out and unwind comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the full-size washer and dryer were a wonderful bonus. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Enjoy our stay and such a wonderful location!

We had a great time at this Cabin. It's very homey and well equipped. You are close to the indoor pool and hot tub. Plus you have your own hot tub. It had a cute Christmas tree at the fire place. It was clean and had wonderful beds. We had no issues at all with this cabin. The hosts were quick to respond and super kind and helpful. You are far enough away from the action of the parkway to relax, but close enough to enjoy at moments notice. Definitely check this cabin out! We look forward.to a future stay here.

Perfect for our needs. Having multi floors allowed us to have privacy at night and come together during the day. Hosts were very prompt and responsive to any questions during the stay. The unit is a duplex but we never heard our neighbors. Close to everything.

Clean and neat great cozy cabin

Very responsive hosts. Had a problem with the hot tub and garbage disposal, but maintenance staff showed up very quickly to repair. This was our 2nd time staying here. Last time was in 2021. Unit is clean and has everything you need, but it showed some age since the last time we were here (missing cabinet handles, torn wall paper, etc.).

Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Unit very dirty and not upkeep. Missing drawer handles, dead bugs, mold in bathroom, garbage disposal not working and bad smells from sink and outside not usable as water dripping on cushions.

This unit was spacious and well appointed, and the location was perfect! We enjoyed the fuse ball table in the basement. However, the space could definitely use a deep cleaning & some handyman work. There are pet stains on the carpets, a mild odor throughout the house, and there were lots of dead ladybugs in several areas. The bedspreads & pillow shams had not been washed before our stay, and there was dust on the blinds and fixtures. The kitchen cabinet hardware also needs to be replaced, as the knobs kept falling off. There was always peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. The windows/screens in the hot tub room held many cobwebs, dust, & bugs. These were things that didn’t bother us too much because we only stayed a couple nights, but I’m not sure we’d have an extended stay in its current condition.

Great location. Needs deep cleaning. Wallpaper is peeling in the downstairs bathroom. Beds are uncomfortable, furniture needs updated. Hot tub needs cleaned out, there is dirt and grass in the water, didn’t use because of this reason.

The cabin was very nice I didn’t realize when I booked that the bed rooms where on the lower and upper levels which made it hard for my mom to get up or down to the bedrooms but that was my fault for not thoroughly reading the description. We did have a little issue with the hot tub but it was quickly and easily resolved by the cleaning and maintenance crew. We would definitely stay there again just maybe a different cabin. Thanks

It was ok

This was the first time our family stayed in a cabin. We loved the roomy layout. It's so close to the main drag of Pigeon Forge, yet up and out of the way for quiet. Would definitely book again and recommend to anyone.

We stayed for 4 nights in early Aug. We had 4 adults. Plenty of room for us to have our own space & would have comfortably slept a couple more if needed. Loved the half bath on main level. Had everything we needed. Really appreciated the key code entry & grab bars in upstairs shower. Also gave us enough trash bags, TP, & dishwashing supplies for our stay. Owners were fast to respond to any questions we had & checkout was the easiest of any place we've stayed.

Lots of room to relax, both inside and outside the cabin. Very convenient location, close to everything.

They stay was nice and communication was great. The place does not have a view and not walking distance to things. There were a few broken blinds and large carpet stain that was relayed to owner upon check in and they were very receptive. Overall clean place and great location.

We took the grandkids and our daughter for a short spring break vacation to the mountains. The cabin was in the perfect location and our grandson loved the indoor pool at the complex. Everything was wonderful. Only thing was hot tub issues that made us unable to use it the majority of the stay.

The cabin was perfect for us and definitely would be great for additional guests. The host provides everything you will need for a vacation in the Smokies.

We had to change our dates and they were very helpful. Location was very convenient to attractions. Kids had a good time at the pool.

The place was amazing, 5-7 min to Island Pigeon Forge, 25 min to Gatlinburg. My husband loved the area and the home, we felt so comfortable. Place was clean, organized, equip with extra toiletries. I rented this cabin and cabin 365 for my friend and her family. I only had to message the owner once and he replied promptly. Took the kids to the indoor pool and even walked to the gas station. If I return to Pigeon Forge I will definitely rent this cabin again. The home was more beautiful in person than by the pictures. This is a great place for family of all ages.

Cozy /clean / quiet without being car from main events

It was amazing

My stay was amazing! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because it was very dusty. Almost like it was cleaned when the last people stayed and that was a while before we did. Overall it was an awesome time! They had plenty of things to include a highchair to make sure my 1 year old was safe and taken care of which I appreciated! They were easy to get in contact with and the location was awesome for us!

Very nice cabin and great location. Lots of fun activities down the road and all expectations with cabin and attractions fulfilled! Will be back!

Great location and owners were so easy to communicate with. Sad the fitness room didnt have a treadmill, but that has nothing to do with this cabin specifically. The fitness room is part of the lodge community that you have access to use. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

Cabin was extremely nice. I have stayed in a lot of cabins in the smokies. Loved the location.
