Cabin in Muskoka for Two with a Private Hot Tub and Close to the Lake

Would stay again. Was very quiet and the hot tub was a nice bonus

Wonderful cabin to enjoy a long weekend with your partner. Excellent location, fully equipped and in great conditions. If you are looking to relax and unwind this is your perfect pick.

Charming traditional chalet that felt very cozy and welcoming. We really enjoyed the cedar hot tub on the deck with views of the surrounding hillls. And the wood stove that kept us cozy on very cold nights. Very accessible property with only a few steps at the front deck. The only challenge was getting into bed. A very comfortable queen bed, but a very high mattress and the foot of the bed is tight up against the walls on either side. Hard to explain, but two very small bedrooms have been converted to one bed sitting room, and the queen bed juts out into the second bedroom about 20 cm and at that point is up against room divider walls on either side. So the only way to get in bed is to climb up and over the corners, or dive in from the bottom. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. But just a note that you do need a bit of agility to get in and out of bed.

Beautiful property. The cabin was cozy and clean. Hot tub was relaxing. They have everything available for cooking your own meals. The owner is very quick to respond to any questions we had. Such a great weekend.

We had an excellent time at this cozy and comfortable cabin. It was an excellent place to launch our daily excursions from walking to Hidden Valley Ski Hill to short drives for XCountry skiing/Snowshoeing/Hiking at Arrowhead and Algonquin Park. At the end of the day it was nice to return for a hot tub and toasty fire in the wood stove. The kitchen also had everything we needed to make many yummy meals.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The space was clean and cozy. Nice suggestions for things to do. It was easy to navigate the space with helpful sign posting. The pizza oven and hot tub are both really nice additions to the stay. We loved it

The stay here was fantastic, very calming and peaceful. The hosts were easy to deal with and the cabin had everything we needed! We even got lucky enough to have a couple deer walk near our windows while we enjoyed breakfast.Would definitely come again.

Fantastic location for visiting Algonquin. A great cozy cottage with all the amenities you need. The hot tub was delightful. A wonderful time to visit for the fall colours. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great stay. Enjoyed the stay

We wre incredibly relaxed during the entire stay. No tight schedules to keep. Planned each day according to our moods. We are not hot tub people but its nice that its there for others. Nice fire pit as well. Unfortunately nights were hazy so star gazing was out, but not a drop of rain during the 4 days. Temps around 24⁰ each day. All in all a terrific get- away. The cabin was a perfect size for the two of us over this weekend. It was calm and quiet. The couches were comfy for movie watching and while we ate all meals outside, the dining area was a nice option too! My fiance enjoyed the hot tub (I had to refrain due to pregnancy) and we both enjoyed the campfire! The screened in area on the porch was great for eating and hanging out even while it rained. My only suggestion would be to add lighting to the back porch stairs leading past the hot tub and down to the ground towards the campfire and pizza oven. One night, I took a stumble on the stairs because I couldn’t see that I had one stair left. There are also a couple soft spots in the wood of the porch that might not be an issue now, but I could see getting worse over time. Inside the cabin watch out for nails in the wood floors that can catch your socks and hurt if stepped on the wrong way! All in all, no urgent complaints. The cabin was perfect for our use during a weekend away!

Very comfortable queen size bed but area where bed was a little tight, bathroom was clean shower good, kitchen had all that was needed, I loved the relaxing in front of tv watching favorite movies

My husband and I were looking for a romantic weekend getaway and this cabin did not miss the mark!While there are other chalets around, once inside, it feels like an isolated getaway. The owners love for the property is clearly shown.We especially appreciated the cedar soaker tub and the pizza oven. Hosts provided very detailed information beforehand and were very quick to respond to any messages 5 stars!

Our overall stay was great. Very relaxing and quaint. The hot tub was fantastic. Watching deer graze 20 feet from the cabin was amazing. A successful retreat just to relax.

Loved the cabin and location, perfect getaway

The cottage was our kinda place. Sunshine would have been wonderful but not sure owners could have done anything about that!!

Partner and I came to the area to explore some hiking trails. Due to coming off a snowy winter the ice a the first few coupled with a day of rain brought us into Huntsville for a day as well.When returning to the cabin each day we enjoyed the hot tub, fires s beautiful quiet surroundings

We enjoyed a quiet few days away to enjoy the winter scenery. Very clean and as described in the listing/photos. Remember to memorize the door code if you leave the doors locked when you hit the hot tub, like they warn (good thing one of us had a decent memory!). Nice and close to Huntsville, and lots of activity nearby with the ski hill.

It was a very nice compact cabin. We had a little bit of a problem checking in but other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The only problem we had was with the location of the smoke detector being so close to the steam from the shower. I would recommend this cabin for a couple because it is only one bedroom.

The chalet required use of the wood stove, however no wood was provided. The chalet was drafty near the front door.

Everything was awesome! Nice and quiet getaway, highly recommend!

My only regret is not booking a longer stay here! My fiancé and our dogs had a wonderful time here. I loved reading and drinking coffee in the hot tub. You feel secluded but you’re only a 7-10 minute drive into town. The kitchen has everything you need and it was so fun making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven! You really can’t go wrong with booking this cozy unpretentious beautiful property!

We very much enjoyed our anniversary getaway here. Very clean, neat cabin. Not very private or remote at all. That was the only slight disappointment. But in general we were well pleased. We enjoyed the wood stove a lot

We had an amazing stay. The property is beautiful (especially with the fall colours). It was relaxing and quiet, we enjoyed all the amenities, the hot tub and pizza oven were our favorites. We highly recommend and would return again.

Cabin was just what we were looking for. Great location. Hot tub was perfect after hiking the trails. Kitchen was well equipped and wood stove was nice on chilly nights. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Would stay again.

Nice cabin if you like rustic

I had a lovely stay at Kate's Cottage in Huntsville. The cabin is set back from the road on a lovely treed lot. It feels secluded without being isolated. The decor is elegant, comfortable, and clean. The screened in gazebo was a great place to sit and read while listening to the wind in the trees, and the gentle sound of bird song. The window nook with the couch was also a fantastic reading corner, with large windows on three sides that gave a nice view of the forest. Deer went by the window a few times! The location is also good - close to Algonquin Provincial Park and Arrowhead Provincial Park. It is close enough to Huntsville that many restaurants will deliver, but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. All in all, I had a lovely stay.

Quiet spot surrounded

This cabin was a treat and honestly one of my favorite trips out north I’ve had in a long time. The kitchen had everything we needed, everything was very tidy and easy to find. Can’t beat the location, it’s very quiet but you’re not too far away from other people which is calming at night. Just a 10 minute drive from the nearest town which is super cute and worth a good walk. There’s a Kawartha Dairy and a Beavertail boutique. Lots of nice areas to walk and see the lake. Will definitely be coming back here! Would love to see what the cabin is like in the fall!
