At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. Cabin #4 is a open loft, two bedroom, one bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 10. Stayed Jun 5, 2026We had a great stay at this cottage. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the lake and close to everything we needed. The cottage was very clean, well-maintained, and nicely updated while still feeling cozy and comfortable.One thing we really appreciated was the ample parking. We had trucks with trailers and had no issues with space, which can be hard to find at many cottage rentals.The owner was fantastic to deal with, providing excellent communication before and during our stay and making the whole process easy and stress-free.Overall, a great place to stay, and we would definitely book again.

Stayed Aug 3, 2025Overall a good property to stay at for the price and close proximity to lake, also was clean and had air conditioning, but lacks several basic features. No locks on any bedroom or bathroom doors. No hooks/shelving in bedrooms or bathroom to hang towels/clothes. Toilet lid doesn’t stay up falls down so pee on seat, bathroom hand towel hook has been glued but still falls in trash when trying to hang towel back. Shower head has no handle for washing little ones feet. Again realize this is simple camping living but told owner about several of these things last year and none were corrected.
