There wasn’t any TP, coffee filters and shower empties where empty.

Won’t stay here again.

Great place and great service

Very quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. The cabins are more spacious than previous cabins I have rented in the past.

This property is called “get away to beautiful bear lake” yet it is nowhere near a lake it is basically a dirt gravel lot, with very small building like cabins. When we opened the door, the floor was dirty and had not been cleaned since the last people left. The beds are basically an army cot and a cheap futon which both of them had dirt and gravel on them. The bed looked like it had not been made up since last customer was there. The bathroom was not cleaned at all the shower floor was stained terribly and the shower curtain was wet about 5 inches from the bottom with mildew. The sink had soap scum or toothpaste splatter on the faucet. Floor was not clean. There was only one towel and no wash cloth or hand towels. The kitchenette had dirty dishes on the microwave plates and silverware. It looked like a run down $30 a night hotel and for the price I paid, I was expecting cleaner and on the lake as the name implies. I contacted property owner with my concerns and that we were not staying there after our 12 hour trip to get there. We found a nice hotel to stay at in the next town over for less than this so called cabin.

We loved this little cabin! It was so cute, very clean, comfortable bed, easy check in & out & close to everything you'd need. The only thing I would say is the WiFi was sketchy & more towels would be nice.

Nice once we were able to get inside. Poor communication was our issue. We would have been fine with the entire situation if we had just been informed.

It had good AC and was cute overall. There were a few concerns with cleanliness. The beds were not made when we got there. The sheets had black spots on them. The comforter had some fried bodily fluids that I really don't want to know what they were. Also the garbage was not emptied.

The kitchen garbage and the bathroom garbage were not emptied. I asked for the owner's phone number but he never got back to me. It was nice and cool and otherwise clean.

When we got to the cabin we were unable to lock and there was no information…we contacted the host and he had to give us the codeWe signed up for a cabin for three people would be able to sleep and was surprised that the futon did not have have sheets or blanketsI contacted the host and he kept arguing that they were in the cabin…which they were notOn the second day he said that we would not be charged for this and later he said that he had to charge us for the two daysI am not one to complain and I have never made this type of review but we felt that anyone who was interested in the cabin should know how our vacation went

We never stayed there. We had a major Watermain leak at our house (3) days before our trip and we could NEVER talk to a Human to figure out whether we could change the dates or not. We are not too savvy when it comes to internet communications. And Because of your cancel policies we lost our Money, Thank you very much.

Great for overnighter to visit the Pickleville Playhouse

I actually hadn’t heard a single word from the property manager after booking months in advance. It was a week before my stay so I reached out to see if I could get check in information and specifically stated my check in date. I got a quip/almost rude short reply that only said that I would get checkin information on the morning of my check in. The day I was supposed to check in I still had not heard anything. I asked if the room would be ready and he had completely missed that I was checking in. The room was not ready and I had to wait for someone to clean it for over an hour. Once we got inside there were mountains of dust bunnies all over the floor. The bed is just a folded out rollaway bed. Least comfortable sleep ever. The parking lot is just a gravel yard with weeds everywhere! Cheap stay, but have low expectations and you might feel okay about it.

Other than the smell, i not complaint.

Everything was very nice and what we expected.

This needed some TLC. I’m not sure if it’s just because of the end of the season or what, but there was no soap for the shower, missing lightbulbs, and filthy windows. There was a coffee pot, but no filters or coffee. It’s not a hotel but it is inconvenient to have to shop for soap and coffee for only two nights. Other than that it was great! Great location and comfortable bed. I will go back with fingers crossed in hope of some TLC for the cabins.

Bed was very small and uncomfortable. Tv and internet did not work. Customers from custard shop park in the way of cabin. Air conditioner was very noisy. No information about rental or area was provided. Overall not a great experience for our first time renting thru vrbo.

We were gone most of the day kayaking and just wanted a comfortable place to sleep. The mattress was not comfortable. The tv didn't really work. It would just sit and buffer. I would suggest with this type of VRBO which we knew was no frills, that the owner or manager supply a comfortable mattress, a tv that worked, basic supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, etc. Someone came in the day before we left while we were gone and brought a roll of toilet paper and hand soap and then left leaving the door unlocked all day. We were not very happy about that, but luckily nothing was stolen, They had said they were coming to replace the tv, but that didn't happen.

All was as advertised, Wi-Fi not so much, not a dealbreaker. Probably book here again.
