Cabana Dichoso: Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, Stunning Views, Deck, Games, Pond, 35 Mins to Wolf Creek!

I'll admit, this was my first time renting with VRBO and I'm not sure if I will again after this experience. Here's why I would never recommend this property, especially in the summer. The lack of air conditioning combined with the fact that the fan and skylight window in the upstairs (hottest) bedroom were broken made it pretty uncomfortable and it was noisy with all of the box fans. The view was beautiful and the fact that it's dog friendly is nice. However, when I presented my long list of complaints, I was told I would be given a 50 refund but then that was rescinded. The reason it was rescinded is because I failed to tell them we had a 5 pound Chihuahua in addition to the other two bigger dogs that I did tell them about. They wanted to charge me an additional 35 a night for the tiny Chihuahua. So instead of any refund, they waived that 35/night fee for the Chihuahua, which was nice I guess. In addition, if you are not Christian, the preachy religious art may not help you feel welcome. I took down the art for the duration of our stay, but it was not a welcoming first impression. When I told iTrip about my discomfort, they said the owner has every right to display faith based decor. Understood, but I think you missed the point. Pagosa Springs was beautiful and totally delivered but this property did not. I'll be back to this gorgeous area, but I'll stay someplace else.

Loved everything about our stay at Cabana Dichoso in Pagosa. Location was perfect-just far enough from traffic (and people) yet close to everything that you need. View from the back porch was breathtaking! Perfect place to rest, relax and re-connect while being surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and nature.

We had a great time at this place! The home fit our needs perfectly and the location and views of the mountain range were 2nd to none! We will definitely book there again! Thanks I-Trip! You are so helpful and organized. You are the best!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cabana Disco house! There was plenty of room for our family of four plus two additional adults, and everyone felt comfortable throughout our visit. My son especially loved the detached guest house with the king size bed it gave him his own little space to enjoy. The only minor downside was that it doesn’t have a bathroom, so you do need to walk to the main house, but it wasn’t a big issue for us.The outdoor patio was one of our favorite spots, with plenty of seating and beautiful mountain views perfect for relaxing. We also really appreciated the fenced in area for our dogs, which made things so convenient.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and our family had a great time enjoying the hot tub, games, and mini pool table. The location was also ideal close to grocery stores and restaurants, and just a quick 10–15 minute drive to the downtown shops.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely love to come back on our next trip to Pagosa!

We enjoyed our stay at Cabana Dichoso on the western outskirts of Pagoso Springs. It was quiet with a rustic setting surrounded by large acreages and horse ranches. The view of the San Juan mountains was really good from the deck. It has a good Sony smart TV and the internet speed was over 40 mgb and very adequate for steaming content. It met all of our needs, was clean, and we would like to visit there in the future.

We came up to visit family that lives 1 mile down the road. It is also VERY close to town and near a lot of very good restaurants and stores. The cabin was very cute and had a lot of amenities and relaxing spaces. It was, however, unseasonably warm when we went and the cabin was very hot during the day. It was dog safe and had an awesome fenced deck that the fur babies could roam without worry. The views from the deck were spectacular and it was perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and and evening glass of wine. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

We were blown away by this property. Our favorite part was the view from the back porch. We brought our dog Dolly and it was so catering for pet owners. There were dog bowls, toys, and doggy bags available for use. We also loved having the small fenced in backyard for her to go outside in; it was one of the main reasons we rented this cabin in the first place. Comfortable beds, warm water, and in a great area of town. We saw 2 huge groups of elk next to our cabin and we loved being able to watch the wildlife from the comfort of our cabin. My husband goes on an elk hunt once a year to Pagosa, so we will most definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

What a beautiful property in an amazing little town. Amazing view from the back deck. You'll see hot air balloons every morning right out the window. Star gaze at night in the hot tub. Kids loved the loft area with a ton of games.

We absolutely loved the Dichoso house! It was so lovely and the hot tub was great to watch the meteor shower and relax! The fireplace in the back porch was terrific! The beds were so comfy! The wildlife was beautiful to see and we could even hear the hot air of the balloons as they floated by. Even with the few steps, my mom was able to get around with assistance. Thank you so much for a great week so near to the convenience of town but far enough away!
