If you are looking to get out of the hustle and bustle and wind down, this is the perfect vacation home for you. When you arrive at C Gull’s Hideaway, you will get the feeling you are at your very own secluded island oasis, but still very close to everything the island has to offer. C Gull’s is located midway from the entrance of the East Beach Causeway (1.3 miles) and to Redfern Village (less than a mile) where there are local shops and restaurants.

THE SPACE
You will have a hard time choosing your favorite place to dine, but dining in, is also an excellent choice at home in our gourmet kitchen with upscaled stainless appliances. Dining is set up comfortably in the sunroom overlooking the expansive fenced in backyard, and pristine pool, just completed July 2023! C Gull’s Hideaway is the perfect spot for getting away from it all.

Your experience starts with all one level living in this spacious ranch style home. Once in the home, it is step free with exception of one step down into the sunroom.

Enter through the front door and you are in an open living space with ample seating for TV viewing and socializing with the guests in the kitchen or at the breakfast bar. You can also enter the sunroom from the sliding glass doors in the family room or the door leading off the kitchen. The kitchen features a side-by-side refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, charming farmhouse sink, wall oven and microwave. Coffee lovers will have use of a Hamilton Beach Flex Brew coffee maker (single serve and drip).

The sunroom serves as your dining space and is comfortable for up to 8-guests. There is additional outdoor seating and a charcoal grill.

Behind the large barn door off the kitchen is a full-size stacked washer and dryer and extra storage space.

A few steps off the kitchen is a hall where there is a large queen suite (sleeps 2) with TV, sitting area, desk, access to closet space and adjoining bathroom. The bathroom has 2 sinks, shower and toilet closet.

Down this hall is a bedroom with 2 single beds (sleeps 2) with TV and a queen bedroom (sleeps 2) with TV.
These two bedrooms share the hall bathroom with a combination tub/shower.

At the end of the hall is an additional suite with a queen bed (sleeps 2), TV and adjoining bathroom with shower.

New Pool installed July 2023 with a lounging shelf. Pool size is approximately 15' X 30' with an 8' X 10' Sun Shelf.

Parking is on the gravel driveway or two spaces underneath the carport. No more than 4-total vehicles (per county permit), which includes a golf cart. The driveway is narrow, so no trailers or box trucks are allowed (no exceptions).

Home is located in the quaint neighborhood of St. Simons Heights. We have neighbors. No parties or events are allowed, and you should refer to your rental agreement.

We're located mid-beach - halfway between the St Simons Pier Village and East Beach. This stretch of beach is not tide dependent and has plenty of walking distance in both directions. We're walking distance to local restaurant favorites like Crab Daddy's, Barrier Island Brewing, Fiddlers, and Porch.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $200 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

    Property was as advertised. Close to everything and the pool in the backyard was great. The place was clean and well kept. Great communication from the property management company leading up to and during our stay. If you are looking for a clean, updated, place in a quiet part of the island, look no further.
