Welcome to bythesea — your front-row seat to coastal living. Perched on Hutton Street and overlooking Knights Beach, this stylish townhome delivers sweeping ocean views from the moment you arrive. Upstairs, the light-filled living space sets the tone for relaxed stays, with a cosy gas fireplace, plush seating, and seamless access to the balcony. Fire up the Weber BBQ, sip your morning coffee to the sound of the waves, or settle in for sunset drinks as the sky glows pink over the ocean.<br>
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for effortless holiday meals, including quality cookware and a coffee machine stocked with beans. A sunny dining nook with banquette seating makes breakfasts slow and cheerful, while the balcony invites long, alfresco lunches with the sea as your backdrop.

Downstairs, two thoughtfully styled queen bedrooms offer peaceful retreats. The primary bedroom enjoys ocean glimpses, while the second opens onto a private courtyard with a fire pit, ideal for evening catch-ups or toasting marshmallows under the stars. The bathroom includes body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, along with an in-unit laundry and a second toilet for added convenience.

On-site parking makes it easy to explore the best of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

One smaller non-shedding dog may be allowed on holiday with you. Please advise should you wish to bring a dog. We do charge a $75 pet fee. No cats, sorry.

Please treat the our home as if it were your own. Kindly leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure. Unexpected additional cleaning cost will be forwarded to you.

$200AUD cleaning/deodorising fee charged if guest is found to have been smoking in the property.

CHECK OUT: Check out strictly at 10AM. Additional charges will be incurred for our cleaners time if not vacant upon their arrival. We charge $30AUD for the first 30 minutes, and $60AUD for every 30-minutes after this.

LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.

LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.

    Beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated with quality fittings and appliances. This is a true coastal holiday location where you can relax and watch the waves roll in from the comfort of the lounge or on the balcony. It is pet friendly without any evidence of other peoples animals having been there as the place is very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this place and we would definitely book here again.

    The property was beautiful and as listed. The location was perfect, a short walk to the main strip. The view from the lounge and balcony was stunning! The bed was comfortable and the shower hot, overall the property was great. The only thing is that there is no carpet on the stairs, which is completely understandable, but it did make it difficult for our old dog to get up & down. Would definitely stay again.

    If you love to watch waves roll in and fall asleep to the sound of them hitting the beach, this is the place for you.The property is ideally situated for walks along the beach or the Heritage Trail and of course the outstanding Port Elliot bakery.The yard is completely secure if you bring a dog or two. There is undercover, off street parking.Inside is clean and tidy. Very good facilities (washing machine/tumble dryer/gas heater/coffee machine/cooking utensils/TVs etc).There is a very unique second toilet under the stairs that gives Harry Potter vibes .Not for you if you don't get along with stairs; the living area and kitchen/dining are on the first floor.Definitely recommend!

    Really enjoyed staying at this unit, as it is a lovely place to stay with the sea view. The unit was very clean and had everything supplied that you would need. only issue was the front screen door and front door were hard to open. The stairs were a little steep , so it would be good for a picture to be on the website to see what they are like :) There is no toilet upstairs but 2 toilets' down stairs. Thanks Kim and Barry

    I recently stayed here with my husband, two boys (9&7) & dog. The property was clean, comfortable & in a fantastic location! Great access to beaches, eateries & walking tracks. For me it was the little things that made the biggest impact… Fluffy Sheridan towels, fast Wifi, smart tv’s (makes a world of difference with tired kids after big days exploring) & well maintained bathroom/kitchen. There was even a dog door for our girl so she was able to take herself out to toilet! We wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay here.

    The Unit has everything you could possibly need or want. Don't need to bring much with you, food and personal items only. Everything in the unit is of high quality, and the fully automatic coffee machine is a great bonus. Will definitely book again.
