Stayed Jan 29, 2022Beach cottage was in a great location. It was a beach shack- kitchen adequate, bathroom and laundry adequate with good washing machine and Dryer.Barbecue was an old wood fire bar which we could not use due to the hotplate being rusted. The Queen size bed in main bedroom was very old and not hygienic for the frequent booking the house gets. Back room sunroom windows had no screens and were very hard to open. The curtains in the sunroom were very old and when I pulled the curtain across to close - a white powder from the lining of curtain stained my T shirt and lower arm. The main living room had a very old lounge with loose springs ( very uncomfortable) and there were throw over rugs on them to conceal how stained and sticky the furniture was. I actually sent an email to Raine and Horne South West Rocks ( Accommodation email address) requesting the Owners be advised about my constructive evaluation, in order for the deficiencies of the accommodation to be actioned in order for “ reasonable and necessary repairs”; for paying guests to be provided with more appropriate facilities. Stayed Jan 17, 2021This place was fabulous! Small and older but connected with the relaxed feeling of the area. Loved not having WIFI or payTV (although the kids may think differently). I loved it and would definitely come back again. Thank you.

Stayed Nov 2, 2020This property has great potential- it is close to the beach in the delightful hamlet of Hat Head. Unfortunately we had some issues- some of the windows had massive spider webs, one of the drawers in the kitchen was broken, the outdoor seating was dirty and the garbage bin had not been emptied for quite a while - maggots were visible in one of the plastic bags.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Has all the basics plus 2 toilets ! Would like to see maybe another double or queen bed somewhere instead of bunks But overall very accomodating
