Buffalo Soldier House with Media Room & Professional Table Tennis Table.

Our stay was perfect! Host was in contact with us a few times just to make sure everything was going well!

I recently had an experience with the Buffalo Soldier property on Vrbo, and while there were some challenges, there were positive aspects as well. The most commendable aspect was the property owner's promptness in refunding our payment, even though we didn't request a full refund or intend to cancel our reservation. Our primary concern was the cleanliness of the property during our stay, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. There were several issues we encountered, including dead bugs scattered around the house and on the couch, unaddressed food and dead bugs behind the indoor trash can, and the discovery of hair and hair clips on the bed sheets. Additionally, we noticed the fridge, stove, and side of the microwave were dirty. We contacted the owner immediately upon discovering these things and he answered promptly. The owner said he will call us back so we can return when the house is cleaned. Our intent was not to cancel our reservation, but rather to request some form of compensation for the inconvenience we experienced due to the property's condition. However, to our surprise, the owner chose to cancel our reservation while we were out shopping, leaving us in a challenging situation as most other VRBOs and hotels in the area were fully booked. Our family of seven had gathered for a special occasion, my son's graduation from Army Basic training, and this unexpected turn of events left us scrambling for hours to find alternative accommodation.

House was laid out well, nice updated shower in main bathroom, comfortable beds. Screen door latch sticks and is hard to get open, my parents couldnt open it. Communication with hists was fabulous.

This rental was wonderful! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The game room was my son's favorite part. But I need to give a huge thanks to the host for her extraordinary kindness to us. My daughter-in-law came with us to see our son graduate from Army BCT. When we left to head back home, she accidentally left her keys/wallet on her bed. We didn't know it for the first two hours of the return trip. Not only did she notify us that the keys were found, but she shipped them home to my DIL at college. Her $295 non-refundable key was on that lanyard. It was a pleasure to have stayed there. Our host went above and beyond to help us. Thank you!!

I can not say enough good things about the home and the host. I had a terrible experience in a different home back in November and so I was extremely nervous and prepared for the worst and was extremely surprised and impressed. The home was very clean and sanitized. The home is cozy and beautiful and has a wonderful backyard to run around in and the beds are so comfortable especially after a 15 hour road trip! Courtney is friendly, welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. We were in town for my sons AIT graduation and he has moved on to his first duty station but if I ever find myself returning to Lawton I will be renting again from Courtney.

Conveniently located in Lawton, perfect for those who are visiting Ft Sill. House has all the amenities you want and need. Theater room was an added bonus and I couldn't pry the two young teens out of it. Highly recommend.
